It felt stronger than the 7.2, but appears to be a few miles farther out. Must not have been as deep as the last. They are both in the same general area where we get most of our shakers up here. On the triple-plate junction.

Yes, and this one is a surprise. Earlier today the two local leading scientists from USGS were saying that while the earthquakes might be somehow related (the Chilean, the Aleutian Islands, the Anza quake and now the Yucaipa quake) they were going to have to study them further to determine if there in fact was a connection.

Guess they'll be up all night long now.
