That's going to be a tough pull to get that thing out of there. Wonder how many recovery vehicles it took to get it out? Assuming they got to it before it went completely under.

I'm thinking an M-88 would be the vehicle of choice - not sure if an M1 can tow another M1, being as they're crewed by tankers.

I'll bet it required at least 3 M88s. I had a friend who got an M-1 stuck up to the turrent and that needed 3 M88s .... just watch out for those cables!

When I was on active duty, look at my profile if you want to know when and where, my recovery crews got a case of their favorite adult beverage for every tow job. The DAT's soon learned some self recovery techniques.
