I'm looking out around me and I see a deserted city -- some of the buildings bombed, smoke still rising from them. Civilians, many of them left a long time ago. The rest are afraid to come out, just the same way they were afraid to come out or say anything when the insurgents came into their towns.
This is the kind of fight that the Marines are fighting here and it is very, very difficult.
DU is probably going to lash out at her and the "corporate media" for an analysis like that. Kudos to her.

So where are all the Dem Senators and Congressmen, people like Durbin, and Amnesty International and other so-called humanitarian organizations NOW????Trying to find a way to counter this report?
Insert nasty words here!@!!

Don't expect any gratitude out of these four . . . They'll be suing us next week in Damascus.

Its one of the best articles I've seen come out of CNN. Hmmmmm, would that have anything to do with its being an eyewitness account because the reporter was
ACTUALLY THERE???

Hmmm, why would the Minuteman Freedom Fighters torture anyone? Maybe it was the Jooz?

So what I'm saying is that we should let CNN know that was a good journalistic report. If nothing else so she can keep her job. How pointless is "its only one out of a thousand". We already know that. But if once someone writes a decent story, it might just help to praise that. It doesn't matter if they think it was because of the style of writing or whatever...she gets credit for getting it right and they CNN just might think the public wants to read this.

I follow DU closely (so you won't hafta). I predict we will not hear a peep on this from DUmmies. It does not fit with their overall "evil US military storm trooper" mindset, thus they will ignore it and her. But i will keep watch on 'em and let you know should a miricle occur.

"The man ... has all the marks of being tortured with electricity. His back is crisscrossed with welts. The other man is even ... in worse shape."At least they didn't put panties over their heads...thank God.

Wonder if the TSM will cover that and show REAL torture and demand Sen Turbin retire? Nah! That's not IAW their agenda.

Take pictures of these hostages and match them with pictures of the Gitmo prisoners and do it on National Television. I know, that wouldn't do a bit of good for the lefties and the Durbins of America.

Now that's a kind thought, but I won't start watching CNN again...unless maybe they have video?
