Another dam*ed underground bunker. Saddam built a stinking country under a country.

If they're in a bunker, our guys should get a safe distance away and have the air support hit it with bombs until there's nothing but a smoking hole in the ground.

That is ridiculous.
I am not 'congratulating her for doing her job". I am trying to wield what totally puny influence I have on the journalist and on CNN that it may be in their economic interest to write this Type of article. If we are soooo sensitive to the lousy journalism, don't you think they are in it for the MONEY and just may respond to even someone noticing the article. It is called trying to mold positive behaviors rather than just calling them stupid pigs. That's what I do with my puny vote. I attempt to influence others' behaviors.

Thanks, lysie. Our guests just left. I am glad to see that someone is reporting the tortures of the terorists.

I've seen several reports from Jane Arraf. She's got guts .. gets righ in the battle (wearing a helmet and flak jacket), is calm and collected as bullets wiz by her head. And she's been real fair in her reporting about our troops from what I've seen. No editoralizing, just the facts, described with colorful language.

I'm absolutely amazed that so many Iraqis are willing to serve in the police and armed forces, vote in elections, serve as judges and other public officials -- in spite of this ever-present deadly threat. It puts many of us to shame.

wow. What an illuminating and intelligent reply. You are missing the point I am trying to make. So, ok stay with your general rage at the MSM and well, just stay there.

By the way see post 71 for further clarification.

I just saw her report on CNN tonite. I couldn't watch all of it at one time, cause it is so horrific. She is doing a great job and is really with this story and her coverage puts the Iraq situation in a clear, truthful coverage and she is positive about our troops. I really am getting to like this reporter. She does have a lot of guts!

I wasn't requiring you to clarify anything.

I didn't miss the point .. but evidently you did .. and your lack of a sense of humor proves what I said, "evidently you still haven't recovered".

And .. yes .. my rage at the MSM will continue .. just as long as they are willing to produce a Newsweek story which was A PLAIN OLD LIE; and a TV station which produces FORGERIES to bring down a sitting president; and now we have AI and Time slandering our soldiers. You're damn right my rage will continue.

I heard a report while at work that they found a tub in this bunker and electricity running into the tub to shock victims? Is that true?

A real horror chamber?

Freedom and self-worth are powerful motivators (what a shame how our MSM pretend like Iraqi's aren't fighting for their freedom or that our efforts haven't been an amazing success to date! - which they most certainly have been -)

Sounds correct. I haven't specifically seen or heard mention of a tub, but there has been discussion of electrical shock and other types of torture.

The man in intense pain that they're trying to get into a vehicle, has been tortured, he says, and has all the marks of being tortured with electricity. His back is crisscrossed with welts. The other man is even ... in worse shape. Their crime was to be part of the border police.

Are you listening, Senator Turban?
