Highly unlikely they ate processed McDonald's beef. The typical ME diet back then was lots of fish and vegetables. I don't think God intended the Chinese Buffet though. that's just pure gluttony.
LOL. I've not seen that at Chinese buffets, but at Ponderosa. (Sorry, Ponderosa people, also Bonanza.) The very last time I ate at Ponderosa, there were a trio of very, very large people. They were hoarding the chicken wings (it was chicken wing Tuesday) and were actually relaying the wings in massive quantities back to their booth, complete with shouting backing and forth and rushing up as the cook came out with another giant vat of wings. It wasn't crowded, they weren't booted out, and I never ate there again. This wasn't the first time it had happened before at this Ponderosa, but it was the worst.
