Sam Sheppard's first comment was "Make him an Eagle Scout!" He has survived 48 hrs alone out there. I am so relieved that he and his family did not have to endure a long, drawn out search with a tragic ending.

Being a Trained BSA Rock Climbing Instructor, I felt this one a bit close to home.
Being a Dad of a 14 year old and a 10 year old, Life Scout, and Webelos Scout, I have always taught them to stay put, and we'll find you.
Great news all around.
