Sensembrenner and Nadler squaring off over Flag desecration!
Nadler is for it, right?
Of course, but he won't say it, but he has Conyers speaking against the resolution, Free Speech! GAG! We(Republicans) are trying to alter the Bill of Rights!
You've just pointed out the obvious. Talk show hosts have to walk a fine line between holding the guest's feet to the fire and risking losing them as future guests. We might like to say or ask certain things but the show host has to remember the larger picture, that he might want that same Senator as a guest down the road.
The good thing for those of you who don't enjoy the show or the guests is that you live in a country that allows you to use your own personal power of decision and....change the channel.
Oh, good it's not just me....
I'm gratified that Sen. Lott does not agree we are losing in Iraq. I am quite sure that we are not.
I just saw on C-span 2, that Sen. Kennedy will be giving a speech on Iraq at 2:30 ET today-----
Every one be sure and eat early so you won't throw up!!!
Thanks for the warning, I am about to lose breakfast over Nadler!
C-Span is carrying it, I presume? I guess we are all now aware that the dems are in full assault mode on Iraq and I think there is going to be alot of stomach churning rhetoric to deal with.
Off Topic, but why do Democrats always quote Republicans? Nadler quoting Ronald Reagan, makes my blood boil and my head want to explode! Nadler is not worthy of quoting Ronald Reagan!
Lott was good. Compared what he said at a birthday party and how it never defamed our military, never gave aid and comfort to the enemy. Lott says at minimum Dickie's words should be expunged from the Senate record. Unfortunately he doesn't think the words are sufficient enough for censuring of Durbin. (Question: Just HOW BAD does it have to get these days before we'll say "enough, you are censured"??)
Lott stopped short of saying we were ready to take military action against Syria or Iran just now, but "they have to change their ways".
Somehow I'm not holding my breath on that one Senator.
Faster, please.
Rummy on...
This is what I've been waiting for...please report what he says......geeeeeeeeeeez Fr is slow..
Nadler against Sensenbrenner is like sending in Paris Hilton to fight the terrorists....no contest!!!
RE: Kennedy's speech---the way the notice was on the screen, I got the impression that the speech would be on the Senate floor...although I may be wrong...
Kennedy has been the biggest instigator of Vietnamizing this war....and after the brouhaha over Durbin's speech, I find it demonstrably arrogant of the dems to have him give this speech today...
The Vietnam Prime Minister was in town yesterday---perhaps Kerry and Kennedy had dinner with him, and it just spurred him on....I really have no clue what this will accomplish!
Do ya'll think this is about the Downing Street Memo, and he is the Senate's answer to Conyers?
placemark,
Tony asks if we need to use other countries forces to helpo train Iraqi security forces. Rummy says yes, we've been doing this for months. All this from a comment of Biden saying we weren't doing this I guess
Tell Rummy that this Army wife loves him....LOL
Kerry has backed off the DSM, So Kennedy is probably taking the lead. I actually hate that blowhard Kennedy he is the worst of the worst. If I had done half of the crap he has done in his life, I'd be hiding in a spiderhole ala Saddam! He makes me sick! I know don't hold back it's not healthy!
I love Rummy on the other hand! "Np One Lied"- Donald Rumsfeld!
