DNC Releases results of Ohio Pres. Election Investigation
Democratic National Committee ^ | 06/22/2005 | DNC

Posted on 06/22/2005 9:04:20 AM PDT by jhouston

After the 2004 election, there were widespread reports of serious voting problems in Ohio. The Democratic National Committee's Voting Rights Institute made a commitment to investigate these reports and ascertain exactly what happened on November 2 in Ohio.

An exhaustive five-month investigation by the VRI's research and investigative team identified grave problems in the administration of Ohio's voting system. More than 1 in 4 voters in Ohio faced problems at the polls, including illegal requests for identification, long lines, poorly trained election officials, and more. There were also dramatic disparities in voting conditions among different races; African Americans waited nearly three times as long on average as whites to vote.

Most important, the VRI's comprehensive investigation resulted in concrete recommendations that will help protect every American's right to vote and to have that vote counted. These recommendations cover voting equipment, training for poll workers, uniform standards, and much more.

Get the facts about exactly what happened in Ohio in 2004, and learn how Democrats are fighting to protect our rights.

Driving the DUmmies nuts because they found no fraud. Interesting in that the 8 hour long lines are now down to 3 hours.

HAHAHAHHAHA! The irony, upon, ironies...is as I understand it...these were largely democrat controlled voting districts.

What a bunch of nutjobs!

Meanwhile in Washington...Democrats make fabricate several hundred votes to put in their parties candidate for governor.

I'll bet that their recommendations didn't have anything like making sure that the people were actually citizens or who they said they were or legally able to vote. I'll also bet that it had no recommendation that the voter rolls be purged of all deceased voters.

Expect anything from the radical left. Especially between now and 2008.

"African Americans waited nearly three times as long on average as whites to vote."

Remarks like this are idiotic.
Could it be that A-A's wait longer because they live in cities and/or precincts that are terribly mis-managed?

If so, is it because of racism? Or because of entitlement programs that put incompetents in responsible positions?

Five months to "find" what they were claiming the day after the election.

Who`d have thunk.

In other words...they couldn't really find anything wrong so they put together a partisan, feel good, mushy, PC worded report to delude themselves into thinking highly of the nothing that they acomplished.

Why haven't the Republicans issued, to wide press coverage, a precis of all the fraud, intimidation, and rule breaking that occurred on the Dem. side during the last election?

MoveOn and the rest will continue to cheat, lie, and steal elections until they are publically called to task.

Too bad that black Democrats are too illiterate and disorganized to run a decent election in the ghetto precincts. Do they want white Republicans to come run those boxes for them? I think not...

This is just stupid. I live in Ohio. No long lines in my area and IT WAS RAINING! I actually heard from two people as I was doing some post-voting shopping that they left their lines because it was raining.

It took me exactly 20 minutes to vote.

Of course, they fail to tell the reader most of these "occurences" happened in counties were election boards are totally controlled by DEMOCRATS.

Funny how they blame Republicans for a lack of competence among Democrat officials.

Is Keith Olbermann still on? If he is, I'll bet he goes balls-to-the-wall on this. At least I hope so.

Many of the recommendations from the download are aimed at disallowing voter identification such as photo ID, etc. Imagine that!! The rats don't want to have people identify themselves.

Car bombs, hellish hot weather, beheadings, torture, and threats of retaliation from jihadis didn't seem to faze the Iraqi voters.

Compare that to what these demorat babies are whining about.
