This is time for action. Two things need to be done from what I can see. First call your representative and demand to talk to the legislative aid and make sure you have your copy of the Constitution in your hand for quick reference. Ask what they are going to do to over turn this.
Yes Congress does have that power especially when the ruling is obviously contrary to the constititution. The land must be taken for public use with just compensation not private corporate use (the public benefit does not even come into play). It is enumerated in the Constitution for the establishment of Post Offices, Post Roads, Forts, etc.
If you don't get a plan of action I suggest that you vote with your feet and your cash! Pick a Conservative Constitutional Party and go to your elections board and register as a member of that party. Donate your political cash to that party. Cut the Republicrats off at the source! If you can't make a Revolutionary move like this then we are indeed doomed because you would rather be a slave than do what our founding fathers did. I am a member of the America First Party, check them out but if that is not your cup of tea then perhaps the Constitution Party or the Independant American Party.
The Dance of distraction in the Senate has been going on for how long????? If this was not about distraction then the job would have been done already with respect to votes on all nominees. Filibuster with respect to nominees is unconstituional. The Borders are not sealed, the trade deficit is out of this world, the budget deficit is out of this world and now they take away a government for, by and of the people by seizing our property. Whether you have your property in your hands now is irrelevant they are coming for you. How long are you going to wait? Until there is no one to help you? Are you tired of the lesser of two evils yet?
We also need to call for the impeachment of the 5 who so blatantly disregarded their oaths of office in rendering this decision. If there is no consequence for this it will only embolden them.

How long before we organize a march on DC in excess of 1 million people demanding real change in America?
That would get their attention.
Call Sen Warren Hatch as ask him to defend why he worked with Clinton to appoint Breyer and Ginsburg. Was is :
1) He agrees with their decisions ? or
2) He disagrees but worked with demon-rats so that when a Republican took power the demons would play fair.

It is fine to start that here but we need IMMEDIATE ACTION out of your Congress Critter. Even if they are a member of the Communist Party you have to bug them until it drives them nuts with shear numbers! We need to seriously urge them to impeach the members of the supreme court that enacted this travesty. I wont call them Justices because there actions show they don't warrant the title.

I agree, and I am not taking this lightly either.
She was totally sympathetic to my comments about the idiots on the court who apparently can't read the black and white words written on the paper that is our Constitution.
"Warren" is probably too busy recording another record album to reply or to care.
No branch of gubmint shows much concern when another branch takes YOUR rights. They only care when another branch infringes on THEIR rights (powers.) Therefore, a challenge of Senate power by the Executive is treated as though Hitler's army was marching thru Brandenburg Gate. But a branch on any level is taking from the people? Who cares?
I agree too. And I'm not either.
Won't happen for two reasons
1. The rat party is ready,willing & able to throw a temper tantrum in the Congress
2. The Republicans in congress will on Que and en masse void their bladders & bowels . The que being the rat party throwing a temper tantrum in the Congress.
Why is it that when a Republican gets elected to Congress he checks his testicles at the door???

This is clearly where the source of the blame lies! The good people of Utah never EVER expected this kind of irresponsible behavior from someone they honored with their carefully considered votes!!!
I called Congressman Lamar Smith's office (Texas district 21 phone 202-225-4236).
The young woman who answered said that they had had quite a few calls on this and that the Congressman is looking at possible legislative responses. (Of course, the more the better.)
I know that the Representative is a good, conservative man who will do what is possible. We need to stir up the less conservative Legislators who at least understand the horrors that are possible if property is not protected from governmental seizure.
I just walked by the TV and Fox is headlining the above. I give up. I'm staying home next election day; voting does no good at all. Either Republicans don't have a clue how to fight for their cause, or they've coldly decided to write conservatives off and veer to the middle.
