Unfortunately, the boomers don't support our efforts to give us Gen-Yers some economic freedom.
So yes, you are ripping us off by trying to keep us on the govt. teet. And by the time you steal all the money from the SS system, we will be left with nothing.

I didn't get the privelege of voting for the man, since the first elections that found me of voting age were '88. However, President Reagan was my Commander in Chief for the first year and a half of my enlistment so I think I'll claim him with or without your permission. Thank you.

Sounds to me like you accused them of doing nothing. And, FWIW, I foster Golden Retrievers for the local Golden rescue. I didn't mention it before because it has zilch to do with politics. I've also taught Sunday School. Again, it's irrelevant. Speaking again to the topic, in my book not working the precincts IS doing something.

I was speaking about the comments about "boomers are ripping us off" and "let's kill them before they can collect", etc. I have, and why don't you review, said that I HAVE MY OWN ACCOUNT AND SUPPORT PRIVATE ACCOUNTS. I've even said on several threads that I would support an older retirement date. Nowhere did I say I'd tolerate disrepect. Calling someone "jerkoff" does nothing to further any conversation with me on any level. And, as you said, fostering animals and teaching sunday school certainly doesn't futher correction of the problem. So, what have you done besides work against the only party that might hear you? Doing nothing resolves nothing. On my side, telling you what I DO volunteer for might give you a clue that I'm not a "jerkoff".
Currently I work two full time jobs. Accountant and Pastor. Part of some of the work I do is fostering animals the men from the local base can't take with them when they ship out. I appreciate your service. I welcome your support of Reagan's memory. But some on this thread are not as worthy and are disrespectful.

Yes. Being 51 I could stand to increase my private savings by the amount I pay into the dead plan. I could retire earlier.

Given the fact that you two seem to agree with the premise of SS private accounts, I'm not sure what you're arguing about. Seems to me there are enough fights to be had without attacking those of a like mind.
