Clintons Join Billy Graham for Final Revival - (BARF ALERT!)

As his final American revival meeting continued Saturday, a fragile Billy Graham (search) was met onstage by former President Clinton, who honored the evangelist, calling him "a man I love."
Clinton spoke briefly before Graham's sermon and recalled how the man known as America's pastor had refused to preach before a segregated audience in Arkansas decades ago when that state was in a bitter fight over school desegregation.
"I was just a little boy and I'll never forget it," said Clinton, who was joined by his wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (search). "I've loved him ever since. God bless you, friend."
Graham called the Clintons "wonderful friends" and "a great couple," quipping that the former president should become an evangelist and allow "his wife to run the country."
Graham, 86, then launched into a short sermon that was interupted by applause five times. Organizers estimated 80,000 people had come to the crusade at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens about 20,000 more than the opening night Friday. The rally ends Sunday.
The evangelist is suffering from fluid on the brain, prostate cancer and Parkinson's disease. He uses the walker due to a pelvic fracture and is largely confined to his home in Montreat, N.C. He had said previously that the rally "will be the last in America, I'm sure."

"It doesn't matter if you were "physically there," words are words. They mean things. A man of God doesn't even joke about a Jezebel running the country. I repeat my contention: he has either lost his mind or he is a servant of the Devil. (Remember when Graham undermined the underground church in Russia?) He sold out for benefits and pensions years ago, and genuine Christians would do well to ignore this old idiot."
It DOES matter that I was PHYSICALLY there and you were NOT.
It was a JOKE. Everyone laughed. It was said in a JOKING manner. Christians are ALLOWED to LAUGH and JOKE around. This is NOT a SIN.
He has not "lost his mind" nor "is he a servant of the devil".
"(Remember when Graham undermined the underground church in Russia?) He sold out for benefits and pensions years ago, and genuine Christians would do well to ignore this old idiot."
NO. And I suspect ONLY YOU "remember" that. What utter nonsense.
Maybe you were there ... there was an old guy holding up a sign saying "GOD caused 9/11" and another kook held up a sign saying "Billy Graham leads you to hell". Maybe you were one of those sign holders.
You really need to lighten up!

There's nothing "light" about hell, brother. Ignore the commentary if you want, but take a look at some of beloved Billy's quotes:

If you think a playful interlude between Billy and two people who advocate increased abortion is light-hearted stuff, than you are powerfully decieved.

BG did NOT advocate abortion etc..
BG was NOT plugging Hillary. It was a joke and people LAUGHED.
You're website is not credible.
I don't know why you hate BG. All he wants to do is lead people to Christ. He's very straight forward. He speaks plainly and all the paranoid website that lie about his purpose and what he actually says, won't change that fact.

Yes, he grins and laughs about Hillary running the country, thus leaving thousands of ignorant, baby, union member Christians to believe that God has no say about their vote. Billy Graham might as well put horns on his head and shake a pitchfork around. You're just as bad as a Mormon defending his prophet or a Muslim defending a jihadist.

"...Graham ...quipping that the former president [Clinton] should become an evangelist and allow "his wife to run the country. ... The evangelist is suffering from fluid on the brain..." Water on the brain, huh? And what excuse do those who "follow him" have if they agree with THAT recommendation?
"The point is that "compartmentalization" is, was, and always will be a pernicious myth. If you are a gifted and relentless liar in one sphere of life, you will in all likelihood be a liar in all spheres of life."
"Former White House press secretary Mike McCurry noted, according to Howard Kurtz, "The White House lies about everything; our credibility is zero." Democrat Bob Kerrey said, "Clinton's an unusually good liar. Unusually good." Barney Frank, one of the president's most vociferous defenders, lamented that he wished the president just "would stop" lying. The New York Times was vexed by the president's "mysterious passion for lying" and penchant for "lying about his lies." About the president's tendency to lie, Robert Reich regretted "not simply the fact of it ... but its passionate intensity." The New Republic's Andrew Sullivan noted of Bill Clinton that "from the beginning, Clinton has lied with indiscriminate abandon. He has lied about genocide and he has lied about his golf scores." He adds, "Every label he has attached to himself, every public position he has taken, has smacked of opportunism, not conviction, self-interested deceit, not public-interested candor."
"Another trait the Clinton's have in common, Milton found, is their ability to avoid the truth. "They both lie, even when they don't have to," Milton told CNS."

Why would you think that some thought they needed a gay highschool?
Surely there are not gay youngsters? Surely there are not teens having problems with realizing that they have not developed the same interest in the opposite sex as their friends?
So, unless there are young teens that are having problems of some sort - just don't see the question would even come up. Who would attend? Those seeking depravity as a lark? Those wanting their peers to mock them and call them .>>>>>>.
Just which teenager would choose to go to a school full of gayness? Why they would be the laughing stock of all their peers.

The Clintons have no class, have never had class and never will have class. So, realize that it was the Clintons taking advantage of an opportunity to sway voters that maybe they too have religion and the good will of Billy Graham.
Just why is Billy Graham to use his event to bring people to the Lord as a time to take jabs at a former president. Not his style and not the time or place.

And what have you done for the last 40 years?
This is one minister that has shown by his life that he is the real thing. You may not agree with his beliefs but he is sincere and doing all in his power to work for His Lord. While many here just try and destroy that reputation.
Let me see - now which is doing more for God - the one spreading his word to millions or the one trying to destroy the man's reputation?

I've always noticed so many professed Christians just love the part about rebuking others, chastising, destroying their efforts.
But, funny thing, I have never heard from them any emphasis on God's love, His grace, the fact that He gave His Son to die for our sins that we may believe Jesus is the Son of God, repent of our sins, be baptised for the remission of those sins and rise to walk through life with Jesus.
Just how do you show your listerners the love of Jesus for us? Or do you just show them their sins only?

Kindly point to the fruits of Billy Graham's ministry? Are families more, or less, committed to each other, since the advent of Billy? Is divorce more, or less common? Is entertainment more, or less, God-centered? Are our politicians more, or less, righteous? Are we in the courts, suing each other, more or less?
Which Jesus has Billy been preaching? The kind that would smile and joke with a Hillary and Bill that advocate the murder of children in the womb?
Billy Graham is a full-fledged viper, a whited sepulcher, a wolfe in sheep's clothing--as he manifestly proved this morning.

Two blasphemies in one sentence. Joke or not, I am convinced that Billy Graham has lost his mind to senility, so I won't take him seriously. However, giving such a boost to Hillary Clinton's candidacy in 2008 has me convinced that the Graham family/organization has benefitted financially from the Clintons in some way. I have lost all respect for the Graham Ministries.

`I THINK THE LADIES JUST GO WILD OVER HIM' GRAHAM SAYS HE FORGIVES CLINTON
Saying that President Clinton has a personality that makes women ``go wild,'' the Rev. Billy Graham said Thursday he would forgive the president if he were found to have had sex with a former White House intern and told her to lie about it.
Graham, in an interview for NBC's Today show, said: ``I forgive him . . . because I know the frailty of human nature, and especially a strong vigorous young man like he is. . . . He has such a tremendous personality ...

Last week, in an interview with NBC's Brian Williams, Billy Graham told him it would probably surprise people to know that both sides of his family were proud democrats. He did not say how he is registered or how he votes. I would see him as more Zell-like, too, if he is a "D".

Seeing the Clinton's up there on the same podium with Billy Graham doing their phony holding hands routine, etc., made me want to throw up. The Hypocrisy of the whole thing has tarnished Billy Graham's farewell Evangelical Tour.
That whole unreal and surreal scene was just way too much and should really show and expose the Clinton's for the real two faced phonies they are.
To: nmh
Did it ever occur to your self righteous critical mind that perhaps BG was trying to extend a hand to old Bill? To turn around and fly straight in a gentle way?In that interview with Brian Williams last week, he said when he gets to heaven he hopes he'll learn the answer to this mystery: John Kennedy once asked him to go back to the White House with him in the presidential limousine. He wanted to talk with Billy. Billy had a bad cold, and declined, thinking it would be very bad to get germs all over the leader of the free world. He asked for a raincheck, which JFK agreed to. Kennedy was assassinated shortly thereafter. This lost opportunity has weighed on Billy's mind for 42 years. It may be a clue to his tolerance of Bill & Hillary. That, and being a gentleman.
To: ntnychik
Why would that surprise anyone, Mr. Graham being from NC and being born in 1918? Of course, the odds were 90 percent that both sides of his family were Democrat. He has said that he is a egistered Democrat, and cites the NC heritage, but insists that he votes "the man."
