As I understand it, he attempted to blow up the abortion clinic during off hours, and a nurse was killed unintentionally. That doesn't excuse his act, but at least it's understandable, given his beliefs.

But I've never heard any explanation of his involvement in the Olympic bombing. How does that connect with his avowed pro-life principles? Did he really confess that too? There may be some explanation of it somewhere, but every account I've read merely states that he was the Olympic bomber, period.

I've never heard that he confessed to Atlanta, but maybe the feds gave him an offer he couldn't refuse. I'm sure the prosecutor could give a rat's behind if he was the real Atlanta bomber.
