Democrats' own mood poll scares them
Washington Times ^ | 6/29/2005

A poll on the political mood in the United States conducted by the Democratic Party has alarmed the party at its own loss of popularity.

Conducted by the party-affiliated Democracy Corps, the poll indicated 43 percent of voters favored the Republican Party, while 38 percent had positive feelings about Democrats.

>>>Probably Fox News is using their mind control beams again to block Howard Dean's sane message of Truth to Power!>>>

Yes. Why just last week I yanked out that filling that was giving them full access to my brain with their mind control beams. Whew, thank God that is over.

Got any Advil?

At long last some sanity in all this doom and gloom in the MSM about Bush, Iraq, and Bush. Things are not as bad as they may seem.

"I prefer it when they're fat, dumb and happy."

No worries about the dumb part, that'll never change.

I use the 'Sherlock' translating software on my Mac. I've found it more reliable than 'Babelfish' on euro-translations.

What I translated was;

Is that not a Democrat? Yes that is a Democrat! Is that not a dirty rat? Yes that is a dirty rat!

What about their ring? What does their mood RING tell them?

How can you think positive about a group of people who have nothing positive to say. This is not rocket science.

""The country is just in a foul mood," says Democratic strategist James Carville. He cites a new poll from Democracy Corps in which 56 percent of Americans say the country is headed in the wrong direction."

I think the country is going in the wrong direction also. But that is because of the leftists judges and school boards who are running things. Just because I feel this way does not mean I would have voted for sKerry or most any other demoncrat.

This is BEAUTIFUL! It confirms what I had hoped amid all of the bad poll numbers of the past few months for the President and especially for Congress. Basically, a lot of people aren't happy with Congress, but this doesn't mean that they're going to be pulling the lever for the Dems in '06. If anything, a lot of the negativity directed at the government today is directed at the Dem obstructionists and the hysterical left who are STILL trying to drag the country to hell, despite the fact that we continue to refute their will at the ballot box. If this continues we will see the Dems reduced to third party status within a generation. Awesome news!

The official party of the polls, the Democrats aren't surprised at all by this new study. They've known of their party's down slide for years.

They're just letting something get published about it now because there aren't as many brain-stem-reflexive leftists left to vote for them.

Consumer confidence was at a three year high in the latest poll on that topic. Do you think that people are not is as bad a mood as CueBall thinks. Republicans are enjoying life and RATS are cry babies. It will get better for conservatives as teh Presidents agenda is passed before the next recess.

I suspect recent Supreme Court activities have shown the democrats that the "liberals" propensity to feed on their own is guaranteed to come around and bite them eventually. As such, the "true" democrats will attempt to separate themselves first from "liberal democrats" and then from "liberals" in general. In the short term it will fracture the party. But in the long term, watch for Hillary to redefine herself as a "democrat" (not a "liberal") and mend the fence as memories fade.

What the pollsters seldom report is that half the people who say the country is headed in the wrong direction want the country to go in the opposite direction of what the other half of the wrong direction people.

Half of the wrong direction people want less spending. They want the nuclear option and no compromise by the 14 idiot Senators. They oppose prescription drug care and NCLB nationalization of local schools. That does not bode well for the Dems.

Bush is extremely popular in Blue Illinois, especially on the war in Iraq. Novak is right in observing that Durbin has gone Washington and is out of touch with Illinois and Mayor Daley had to spank Durbin because Dubin's idiocy was hurting other Dems here.

Ist der nicht ein Demokrat? Ja ist der ein Demokrat! Ist die nicht eine schmutzige Ratte? Ja ist die eine schmutzige Ratte! Babelfish says: Isn't that a democrat? Is the one democrat! Isn't those a dirty rat? Is the one dirty rat!

It's a parody of the German drinking song, "Schnitzlebanc".

Better German would have been:

Ist das nicht ein Demokrat? Ja das ist der ein Demokrat! Ist das nicht eine schmutzige Ratte? Ja das ist eine schmutzige Ratte!

Der and Die have gender, but Das does not.

Translation:

Is that not a Democrat. Yes that is a democrat. Is that not a dirty rat. Yes that is a dirty rat.

Thanks for the translation. I could pretty much tell what he was saying. I was just having fun with Babelfish, which really makes a hash of whatever language you are porting.
