After a meeting with convicted Oklahoma City bomber Terry Nichols, a U.S. congressman reaffirmed evidence of a Middle East connection to the 1995 attack.
Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif. – who has publicly vowed to address unanswered questions about the bombing – went with a staff aid to the super-maximum security prison in Florence, Colo., where Nichols is serving 161 consecutive life sentences, according to the Northeast Intelligence Network, a private, counter-terrorist research and investigation group.
In his quizzing of Nichols, the congressman relied heavily on the investigative work of journalist Jayna Davis and her book, "The Third Terrorist: The Middle Eastern Connection to the Oklahoma City Bombing," published by WND Books.
Davis asserts Nichols and Timothy McVeigh were not the lone conspirators but were part of a greater scheme involving Islamic terrorists and at least one provable link to Iraq.
As WorldNetDaily reported, Rohrabacher has said he is "deeply disturbed" that the FBI did not follow up on affidavits Davis turned over to the bureau from 22 witnesses supporting evidence that Iraqi intelligence agents infiltrated the United States to recruit and assist McVeigh and Nichols.
Davis spoke with Rohrabacher after his visit with Nichols and gave a tape of her conversation to Northeast Intelligence Network Director Douglas Hagmann.
The congressman told Davis: "Yours is the only game in town that has any evidence."
Nichols acknowledged the existence of John Doe No. 2 – the alleged third terrorist – but stopped short of identifying him, claiming he "did not want to speculate."
However, according to Rohrabacher, Nichols said "he thought other people [beyond Nichols and Timothy McVeigh] were involved" in the Oklahoma City bombing.
"Timothy McVeigh on a number of occasions, had talked about Middle Easterners," Rohrabacher told Davis. "Terry didn't say anything that would dispel the theory, the central theory of your research, which is these people [witnesses featured in "The Third Terrorist"] actually saw Tim McVeigh and he was with Arabs, and these are the people that you tracked down."
Rohrabacher, chairman of the House Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, said Nichols did not say anything that would undercut Davis' finding of a definitive Middle Eastern connection to the bombing.
The congressman said Nichols "didn't do anything that would in any way ... counter the witnesses that you have dug up and put on the record."
The witnesses provided sworn affidavits to Davis and Chicago-based attorney David Schippers, who served as chief investigative counsel to the House Judiciary Committee for the impeachment trial of former President Clinton.
Schippers also prosecuted a number of high-profile organized crime figures under U.S. Attorney General Robert Kennedy.
After conducting lengthy videotaped interviews with more than a dozen of Davis' confidential witnesses in May, Schippers stated: "Given the credibility of these witnesses, I could get an indictment with just one day of testimony before a grand jury."
Former CIA director James Woolsey also has found the witness statements accumulated by Davis to be credible, including many who attested to observing Middle Eastern nationals in the company of McVeigh and at the Murrah building at the time of the bombing.
Rohrabacher told Davis: "Your evidence remains the heaviest"
Despite the information he received from Nichols, the congressman told Davis he still was "in no hurry" to convene congressional hearings, but said he wanted to see more of her evidence.
As WND reported, on the 10th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing, in April, Rohrabacher asked in a House-floor speech why the FBI ignored strong evidence of a Middle East connection to the attack.
Rohrabacher said at the time that if the FBI does not provide satisfactory answers to his questions, he will call for congressional hearings.
Two years ago, on the eve of U.S. action in Iraq, Davis' reporting on the Oklahoma City bombing was vindicated when the U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals dismissed a lawsuit filed against her after finding "defendants did not recklessly disregard the truth" in reporting on an Iraqi soldier's alleged involvement in the bombing.

For those who don't know, the book The Third Terrorist is one of the best researched books you will ever read.
Former Clinton CIA Director James Woolsey said when the world knows the truth about OKC, they will owe a debt of gratitude to Jayna Davis for writing her outstanding book.
.......but Clinton slyly left the "hard work" for his successor, and now, none of the Clinton Kool Aid drinkers want to remember how incompetent and negligent he was in confronting this massive evil and major threat to our country.
By Aug. of 1998, he was just too busy trying to salvage what he still thinks of as his "legacy," which explains his acquiescence to the "regime change" political urgency at that time.
The information was out there, largely by the excellent investigative work done by Jayna Davis. The CIA and FBI should have vigorously followed up, found the Iraqi connection and dealt with the "3rd man" and other "connect-the-dot" issues.
Who knows? Had the proper work been done at that time, there might never have been a 9/11.

Ramzi Yousef (1993 WTC bomber) and Nichols crossed paths in the Phillipines. Khalid Shaikh Mohammed (9/11) was Yousef's uncle. It is interesting to note that Yousef entered the United States on an Iraqi passport and had been known among the New York fundamentalists as "Rashid, the Iraqi". Another name that could be thrown into the mix is Abdul Rahman Yasin (1993 WTC), a U.S. citizen whose family moved to Iraq in the 1960's shortly after he was born and he returned to the U.S. in 1992. After the 1993 WTC bombing, Yasin fled to Iraq and was given monthly salary and housing by Saddam Hussein's regime.

Yep...finally, after the 2 embassy bombings Clinton had to do something. And while he tepidly declared his war on terrorism...it only lasted two weeks, so he could get the peace-talks back on track. Clinton never dealt seriously with these threats because he was afraid such acts would alienate the very Arab support he was seeking in the Israel/Pali conflict.
This has been out there for a few years and nothing has come of it. Louis Freeh was able to get away with "never heard of it" during the 9/11 hearings.
At this point I don't think there is anything there. Why? Just think about the revelation of Iraqi involvement in OKC would do to the Dems and Clinton's legacy.

The lesson of 9-11, of course, was that even without WMD, without missiles to deliver the payload, we could be hit and hit hard by someone who wished to do so, and that someone could easily remain anonymous. Not only do those on the Left not grasp this obvious lesson, they insist that we ignore the implications.
I remain convinced that the reason we all seemed to be together on that day is because we were all afraid. For those of us on the right, our fear turned to anger, and those on the left, realizing that American capitalism had been the target, harbored no anger in their hearts, thus the split to where we are today.
Clinton is SURELY ordered that the FBI refuse the affidavits Jayna tried to deliver to their doorstep DURING the Oklahoma Bombing fiasco.
Wonder what Clinton and his dirty mob of trailer trash advisors think about when they see the memorial chairs in Okla...especially the ones with childrens' names written upon them?

You're almost right. Clinton for sure did not want to provoke a public outcry for war with Iraq or an investigation by the new Republican Congress into how his Administration allowed ME terrorists into the country. But the larger reason he covered this up was that it was so incredibly useful for him to pin the whole thing on Tim McVeigh and Terry Nichols. They were apprehended so fast, and had ties to the militia movement and other right-wing groups that were manna from heaven for an embattled president. It was easy for the ultra-political White House to see that they had just been handed a huge gift, but it would all be messed up if it could be traced back to Iraq. The public would have seen the connection between the first World Trade Center bombing and Oklahoma City, and blamed Clinton for not doing enough after the WTC bombing to root out foreign terrorists. He would have been toast in 1996. So they stopped the FBI from investigating any ME connection. The coverup of the Oklahoma City bombing saved Clinton's presidency.

I must be unable to read and/or must be quite dense. Can anyone point to anything Nichols said in his conversation with Rohrabacher to supports Jayna's theory? What I got was that Nichols said nothing to contradict the theory (which is true because Nichols said nothing). That's a far cry from supporting her theory, though.
There is still a terrorist cell in Oklahoma City as well as many other cities.
