Brian Williams of NBC news just compared the new Iranian President to the Founding Fathers
NBC Nightly News ^ | 6/30/05 | Self

Posted on 06/30/2005 3:41:20 PM PDT by Sam's Army

Anyone else just see the NBC report on the possibility that the new Iranian President may have been one of the kidnappers in the 1979 hostage crisis?

Brian Willaims and Andrea Mitchell bantering back and forth with Williams stating: "After all, some certianly regarded the founding fathers as terrorists, and the student uprising was well supported all across Iran." Or words extremely similar to that.

Maddest I've been yet on this issue, even if this isn't the guy, Williams and Mitchell's comments were way over the line, even by what we are used to out of the MSM

Well, is he wrong.

Aminedejad is nothing like an American founding father.

But what is a founding father, a founding father is a man who contributes to the formation of a country/government.

And news stories now say Aminadejad was one of the hostage takers in 1979, meaning, by Iranian Islamic Republic standards, he is one of their founding fathers. It's just he was a founding father for something that is evil.

Geeze, if I thought it would do any good to call any of the loser ABC networks and complain, I'd do it. Like Rush said today, they don't even give a damn that they're viewership is tanking more everyday!

But on second thought, I may have to call and give someone an earful anyway, just to make me feel better....

Sure. A thug Islamosfascist torturer and murderer is JUST LIKE George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Alexander Hamilton.

The Founding Fathers were not perfect men, and some of them owned slaves, but they were not terrorists as we understand that term. Why does this even have to be said?

Founders of the modern terrorism movement perhaps.

It must be awfully frightening to live inside their heads where terrorists are considered comparable to our Founding Fathers.

Let's get something straight Mr. Williams. The difference between our Founding Fathers being called terrorists, and the Iranian "President" being labeled a terrorist, is that one is meant to discredit people fighting for Liberties given by our Creator and the other can actually be backed up with vicious accounts of terrorism.

I honestly do not even know if Mr. Williams meant this to lift the terrorist "president's" credibility, or to tear down our Founding fathers. I suspect both.

"After all, some certianly regarded the founding fathers as terrorists, and the student uprising was well supported all across Iran."

This moronic, liberal ape doesn't quite understand that political terrorism was an invention of the Marxist Left and that it had nothing to do with the Founders - or the founding - of America.

"Brain" Williams has been listening to Ohio's Marcy Kaptur. She made a similar brilliant statement alittle while back.

How in the ________ can he compare the Iranian, Islamofascist, hardliner to George Washington,Thomas Jefferson, et al?

Nevermind.

Brian Williams, you're a dumbass.

Please remind me where in history our founding fathers took over a foreign embassy and held its members hostage for over 400 days.

Another idiot who is about to claim he didn't say what we plainly heard?

All anyone with good cognitive sense and good eyesight has to do is look at this man's profile, hairline, and demeanor to know that he is, indeed, a psycho, wall scaling terrorist circa 1979. Is everyone blind?

This fanatical terrorist is now President of Iran. I'm done talking...here is where we need to drop the Stone Age Express and go home. The hierarchy of Iranian Islamic culture is the "main event" when it comes to jihad. It's not those cannon fodder morons out in the streets that are the lethal threat, it's those creepy old wizened mullahs. The very one's who put this relatively young (49 yrs.) into power with this crooked election. Either those Iranians who care about their country and their survival get out there and fight or they might be "winter toast" too. Harsh, I know, but it's the old "them or us" mindset. As it has been since the beginning of time. This time, they really do intend to destroy this entire world and that cannot happen.

p.s. Just a tip o' the hat to balless Jimmah Carter, who inspired these very same people with his appalling cowardice. Has he been an officer instead of the C-in-C, no doubt he would have been executed for his actions.
