This is from a kid born in 1987, but, did the USSR cease to exist until 1990?.... I thought the USSR retained their control until after the BErlin Wall fell. If someone wants to educate me on this, i'd be happy:-d So much for that "social studies" course i had earlier in grade school taht was supposed to cover this time period... idiots...

OMG - I am SO digging on this music!! Here are my answers:

1. Were you in school? I was a senior in High School

2. Were you in the military? Um, no.

3. What kind of music were you listening to? Everything you put at the top of the thread...plus some classic rock stuff like Van Halen and all the hair bands.

4. What do you recall as the best memory from 1985? Prom, graduating, spring break in Clearwater Beach with my friend - it was my first plane ride too!!
