I prefer to usese this guy to make a point about America. This man is a tenured professor at an major American University and is publicly saying highly treasonous and downright disgusting things.

But, in America - even an America at war - this man has a right to due process. The men who he wants killed and the people who he compares to Adolf Eichmann are fighting and sacrifcing so that he has this right.

Whereas, there appear to be an ever dwindling number that do not think him a scumbag, I still feel proud to be from a country that continues to afford and honor his fundamental rights.

I don't want to see him get a big payoff, though. I just wish the press would ignore him. He is a nut on a soapbox.

I wonder why so many people even give this guy attention. He's a loon without a bill. He's like the little whiny guy at school that says big stuff to get a rise out of someone. So far he is succeeding.

Actually, there appears to be an ever-increasing number that thinks of him as a scumbag.

"Fragging an officer has a much more impactful effect."

I say ""Fragging a certain tenured professor at CCU has a much more impactful effect than paying him off."

"He is a nut on a soapbox"

Indeed he is. He is a walking talking advertisement for the degeneracy of the Academy.

His mouthings find resonance among the lefty academics that infest our colleges and universities.

Ward Churchill reminds me of one of my all-time favorite quotes:

"No one is totally worthless in that he may serve as a poor example."

I agree with everything you say except the above. The challenge for the Republican media people is to showcase Churchill's inflammatory statements and tie them to the Democrats. Let him speak anywhere and everywhere and make sure the American public knows his noxious ideas are what their kids are being brainwashed with in colleges. The only reason universities have gotten away with turning themselves into radical Left indoctrination centers is that the people who send them money don't know what's happening.
