I am just guessing here, but being a stupid moron is most likely a requiremnet for leadership in the Democratic Party.
Cornyn up in the Senate!!!
That's a good guess!
It's like Rush says, to liberals their "religion" is liberalism itself and abortion is their "sacrament." Therefore since abortion "rights" came from the SCOTUS it's their "god." If I think of it in those terms it makes sense. [with props to Rush]
Rush would be so proud, well done :)
Just heard on c-span 1 that Kennedy will be on there in a little bit...and then Chuckie Schumer will also be on this afternoon....OMG
I guess we are fortunate that Clinton and Kerry aren't on the Judiciary Committee ...but Durbin is, so I wonder how long it will take him to get to a microphone?
DeWine is doing his level best to make me cry!
Do ya'll think that the Gang of 14 will step up and "offer" their services to make sure that THEY get their nasty little hands in?
He has a habit of doing that...
Is the Pope Catholic? Call Reagan National and see how many reservations have been cancelled.
Sessions on Fox!
Thanks good catch! I had things to do today darn it! It was supposed to be a slow news day!
ROFLMAO!!!!
Yep--yesterday was a yawner....and now, just when you thought you could catch up on the work....
From what I gather from the pundits, the fact that it was O'Connor instead of Rehnquist that retired, it will make the replacement process ESPECIALLY vitriolic because she was so often the "swing vote" in 5-4 decisions, and if Rehnquist doesn't retire, there could be MORE conservative decisions...
I wish we could deploy the Democrats to the hot zone in Iraq, I am so sick of them!
Bloviatos on Span 1
Can't someone charge FatTed with murder anyway? The statute of limitations never expires on that.
In my limited capacity as a holder of a BS in Criminal Justice and assuming that your question is not rhetorical. The answer is no, he pled guilty to that which he was charged with and I think a case would be made that it would be Double Jeopardy to charge him again. However in all matters the way I understand it, is that if new infromation/evidence came to light then they could persue a new indictment based on that information/evidence.
Well ok... it will just be a fantasy of mine then!
But wait a sec... he wasn't charged with murder, or even manslaughter, right? Just leaving the scene of an accident IIRC. ???
