WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. Federal agents are investigating after a suspicious fire damaged an abortion clinic in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The F-B-I and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives have joined local authorities in the investigation of last night's blaze at the Presidential Women's Clinic.
No one was injured. No details yet on the extent of damage. A fire department spokesman says it appears that lighter fluid or some other accelerant was used to start the blaze.
A July 2004 fire damaged another Palm Beach County abortion clinic and a 2003 blaze damaged one in neighboring Broward County.
It is strange. The extremists among the anti abortion crowd have been pretty much purged and silent for a while. Seems an awfully odd time to show up and help the pro abortionists.
all it takes is a single non-affiliated nut case with their own agenda
Same crap as with all the bogus "hate crimes" against black churches and college students. 9 10'ths are faked by the "victims" to reinforce their "victim" status when news of legitimate "hate crimes" wanes and they start to lose mediashare.
Attempting to murder adults is no way to save unborn babies.
Why is BATF on the scene anyways?
I've never heard of an abortion clinic with a safety record this good.
I certainly wouldn't put this group of liars past setting their own places on fire to stir the flames and get their agenda back in the news.
When several crisis pregnancy and pregnancy aid centers were badly vandalized here in Maryland over the last year or so, I didn't see federal agents getting involved.
Or this level of publicity.
Something to do with the 'Toon?
Bureau of alcohol, tobacco, and firearms. Enforces the Federal laws and regulations relating to alcohol, tobacco, firearms, explosives, and arson.
First thing that came to mind was the clinic staff.
Thank you
They have to find a way in some how.
"All it takes is a single non-affiliated nut case with their own agenda."
No kidding. I pray this was an electric fire or some other accident.
Morons like this put back the movement, and certainly do not stand for "life."
I think it was the clinic staff too. Let's have a look at their books, personnel files...
Very insightful. Irony roars more often than it whispers.
Half of their patients usually die.
Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters
Oh c'mon... they're serial killers. Not liars.
How does someone 'put back the movement' if the movement hasn't gone anywhere in over 30 years?
~1.2 million dead shredded babies last year = ~1.2 million dead shredded babies this year = ~1.2 million dead shredded babies next year = going nowhere
I am anti-babyshredding and I say the numbers count.
You may go back to licking stamps and mailing fund raiser letters for your 'movement'.
(1) We are about to get 2 judges, if provacteurs or idiots don't screw things up, that's one step.
(2) It has to do with a cultural change. While the law has changed little, peoples' hearts have changed --- more people morally oppose abortion than ever. By showing people God's love, more troubled woman will "Choose Life," to use the catch phrase.
Hate-filled screamers do little to change peoples' minds.
That's a peculiar distinction. I don't think it holds up. People who do bad things always try to justify themselves, and lying is their first recourse. The various euphemisms for abortion -- "a woman's choice," "procedure," "terminating a pregnancy," "reproductive rights" and so on -- are all lies of a sort. Certainly they are all used to obscure the truth.
We do hope & pray, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Legalized baby-shredding was imposed upon the nation by SCOTUS rulings, not by a vote of the people. A majority of people in 1973 were opposed to baby-shredding, as reflected by the laws of the 50 states concerning baby-shredding in 1973. Only 3 states allowed it, and then only under highly regulated circumstances. The other 47 banned it.
So what's the point? Well, hearts and minds didn't matter then and they don't matter now.
The baby-slaughter will stop when the Feds, SCOTUS included, want it to stop. They will never want it to stop until the pain experienced, due to having legal baby-shredding, outweighs the perceived benefits of keeping baby-shredding legal. Hearts and minds of the masses is irrelevant.
Also, abortion rates for churched women that profess Christ, is the same as the unchurched. Although I can't prove it, I believe that the more fundamentalist, hard-line, Churchs have lower rates. It's the women of the faggot, apostate denominations that skew the baby-shredding rates of the 'Church' to the same rates as the rest of the world.
Good luck with your dream, now go lick your stamps.
Were there brimstone involved?

See my post #3 Judith Anne. A MUCH more likely scenario
Well, it is always a pleasure to use the word "facetious," which is one of only two common English words with all five vowels used in order.
fAcEtIOUs.
By golly, you're right. :)
Sequoia has all five vowels -- though not in order -- in only a seven-letter word.
Wordplay is fun :-)
"~1.2 million dead shredded babies last year = ~1.2 million dead shredded babies this year = ~1.2 million dead shredded babies next year = going nowhere"
I heard that the number of abortions are increasing. So it's actually going backwards with the exception of the "baby shredded" that burned up in this "clinic".
