Rove has never denied speaking with Cooper but it would have to be Cooper, Miller or Novak to prove that Rove relayed to them that Plame was a CIA Operative. You're right, they don't have it or they would sell him out in a heartbeat. I actually heard that it is very unusual for the President or his advisers to know CIA Operatives actual names due to national security risk being that if someone in the administration got kidnapped, national security can't be compromised.
