Couple Finds Crosses Burning Outside Trenton Home
Detectives Await Return Of Evidence From Crime Lab
TRENTON, Mich. -- A biracial couple that moved to a Trenton neighborhood two weeks ago received a harsh welcome this weekend, Local 4 reported.
The man who lives at the home with his wife and 1-year-old daughter told the station that the family woke to find a cross burning outside their daughter's window two days in a row.
"I thought it was a dream," he said. "I just actually couldn't believe that people would do something like that."
Police caught two men leaving the area in a U-Haul van. A floor mat in the van appeared to have a stain or wet mark in the outline of a cross. It was soaked with what police suspect is a flammable liquid, the station reported.
A can of lighter fluid was also found near the home, but the men in the U-Haul deny being involved in the incident.

Wayne County - Ironicaly one of the most democrat counties in the entire country.
We won't ever be considered part of the south but you would be suprised at the number of native Michiganders who speak with a southern accent. A lot of southerners came here in the 40s to build bombers and stayed. There are a lot of American born hispanics here for the same reason.
To liberals who haven't progressed past the civil rights era of Freedom Marches and Sit-ins believe that these kind of things happpen ONLY in Dixie. They NEVER happen in Liberal Land! I speak from experience. I served in the USMC with a snooty liberal from Golden, Colorado, who, after finding out I was from Florida, automatically labelled me a racist and a red-neck moron because I was from the South. I could not convince him otherwise. His condescending attitude was almost unbearable, but I had to put up with it because he was my superior officer. So, from day one, I FED his stereotype mindset with every action and comment I could. To him, anyone from South of the Mason-Dixon line was a KKK-Cross burner............
I'd love to see a thorough followup on this, but don't count on it. Just like the cross burnings in Durham, NC... if the perpetrators are of a leftist political bent, and are doing this to "raise awareness," it'll get dropped like a rock.
So, my bet is on leftie "activists."

My hunch is that there are many interracial couples in Trenton, Michigan and that this may be one of those "look at me" hoaxes. We'll see.

I would have gone to Sam's Club and bought one of their
security camera systems..cheap and you get at least four
cameras..
Make a nice hide for them and sit back wait and watch...
Naturally a few other surprises should have also been planned..
