Prayer request: Freeper Jack "Tahiti"Glennon killed in an accident on July 3

Just received the following message from FReeper Tahiti's wife:

Hello,

I do not know if I am contacting the appropriate person. However, I wanted to let the people at Freerepublic.com know that my husband, Jack Glennon, was killed in an accident on July 3, 2005.

Jack spent many hours of his time daily/weekly at your website and I know he posted often. I just wanted to let you know of his tragic passing.

He was a dynamic, wonderful man and a loving and devoted father. Freerepublic was such a big part of his life that I felt I needed to let someone know who might be able to post this information.

His obituary can be found in the St. Louis Post Dispatch in the Tuesday and Wednesday editions (which I know is a liberal paper - he reminded me often!).

GLENNON, JR., JOHN 'JACK,' on Sunday, July 3, 2005; beloved husband of Sherry Glennon (nee Groves); loving father of John III, David, Alex and Grace Glennon; dear son of Marilyn and the late John Glennon; dear brother of James (Rene) Glennon, Dennis (Julia) Glennon, Gregory (Donna) Glennon and Douglas (Christy) Glennon; dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Jack attended Chaminade (1969) and the University of Dayton graduating in 1973. He started Voice Engineering and Supply, Inc., with Frank Speziale in 2001. Jack loved boating, riding motorcycles and officiating hockey. He loved life and lived it to its fullest. Thanks for posting this. May he rest in peace. It sounds like his wife went to some trouble to let his FRiends here know about his passing. That was very sweet and kind of her.

Like the other gentleman's son who posted of his father's death last week. It is good to know how much FR means to folks.
