I also looked up a tarot card. I found the 7 of swords = secret plan.
One of my great old books has a picture of a Mohammed follower on horseback entitled "A sword in one hand and the Koran in the other".
The circ is only 7,000, so we only have five reporters...including me, the intern.
And with that, I need to get back to writing a story.
Thank you Lord indeed!
OK........so it's Edgeware. Thanks for the info.
Then it's completely understandable.
She's very glad to be in the United States for the next two weeks! God is good!
They're probably thinking that the Brits should have bowed down. Those who are not brave enough to fight for their freedom probably cannot understand those who are.
do you have any photos of Perky Katie on Nov 3, 2004 ? Now THAT was a sad face !
I found this blog on the attacks, good read..
There's a guy who was pretty messed up on one of the trains being interviewed right now on BBC News (you can watch it online via Windows Media Player or RealMedia). He's lucky to be alive.
"they are trying to pour salt on London's wounds...(by using) India reporters in the heart of the terrorist acts in London."
Indians have plenty of experience dealing with Muslime terrorism, unfortunately. Don't associate Hindu Indians with Muslime terrorism.
I know you and the parents of the son are all mightily relieved. I am glad you heard good news. Yes, thank you Lord for all who were spared.
Our hearts are filled with prayers for the people in London.
(Tell them to stay inside for a while!)
BBC have a map with the locations clearly marked.
Apparently too many others are trying to - won't open.
To be sure!
The maggots want to make sure we get the connection.
Just heard. I should have considered the source. Thanks.
Thanks for the link, looks like a good one.
Someone above posted this one
which is also interesting to read.
Yes, and that 2005 adds to 7.
Like this sculpture in the Supreme Court?
The Godfather of "The Religion of Peace"
I would like for them to wait until they clean up the wounds to interview people.......
Remember the Godfather? "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer" There is truth in this. The terrorists we know of in America are probably a good source of intel for us, whether the terrorists themselves know it or not.
As of now, it does not appear that there were 7 bombs today.
60,000 British civilians were killed by German attacks during WWII. they are a tough lot, very inspiring indeed. As the famous war correspondent (Ernie Pyle I think) once said, when journalists actually were patriots and not traitors--"This is London....London can take it!"
Luckily, I am just interning here.
LOL! That's good.
ON THE BBC'S WEBSITE.......................
Normal formatting is our friend. :)
Sorry I took so long to respond to your post...storms came through, so I had to shut off computer, then the satellite went out, then the electricity...yikes!!
Anyway, from what I gather from you and other freepers, that Mayor is the epitome of the dangerousness of politicians, when they will look you in the eye and lie, or pretend to be what they aren't....
It is getting harder and harder to not be so cynical that I want give up on politics...!
Go with this one for Laura Ingraham, ksky works most of the time.
Also need to investigate the MOSQUES here where they are plotting and planning!!
They did than walked to Harrods!!
Bibi was called AFTER the first blast, and told to stay put. And it was Scotland Yard which called him, not Israeli intelligence who somehow knew about it. There are so many Jew-haters in the UK, this lie was not surprising
perhaps a bit sarcastic, but this does provide an interesting point.
No mass transit then no way to put a bomb on a bus or metro.
I read some of a DU thread, and most just expressed sympathy for the victims. Some decided to blame Bush/Blair though...
Thanks, I was just going off the headline and what I heard this morning on TV before leaving the house. How many bombs were there? Any update on number of casualties (although that will probably change quite a bit in the next few days)?
Our public services look like they still have their act together. They got a lot of practice at this sort of thing during 20 odd years of the IRA doing it.
In general public reaction here is about what I'd expect. Calm and stubbornly unmoved. This isn't going to change anyones mind here about the war on terrorism I think.
Whatever they thought about it already, they'll probably carry on thinking. What isn't going to happen though, and what didn't happen for the IRA is the British people letting themselves be intimidated or influenced by this.
Bombing us has been tried. It doesn't work.
perhaps. but clearly in the UK, they have not been vigilant enough to break up cells amongst their native British islamofascists - I doubt this attack was carried out by an "imported" team, its home grown.
I'm very pessimistic. We should have turned Mecca into a parking lot after 9/11 but we didn't. Instead we heard speech after speech about what a great religion islam was and how tolerant we were of it. Almost four years after what have we done? True, we've removed Hussein (mach shemo), but aside from frisking little old ladies at airports and refusing to "discriminate" against "the other," what have we done?
All we do is talk talk talk. We cry, we suffer nobly, we rededicate ourselves to a multiculturalism that would outlaw criticism of islam even as it mercilessly attacks the "host religion" for its "bigotry."
Can you imagine what the world would look like today if we had had this attitide back during World War II? How did the victorious West come away from that conflict burdened with all the guilt of the vanquished foe, even as its twin Communist brother came out full of self-righteousness?
I don't understand it, but for some reason all the guilt of the Axis was transferred to the non-Communist allies of that war, despite the fact that we had lost thousands upon thousands of men destroying it. To this day we pat ourselves on the back for winning the war against Germany and immediately switch to hand-wringing over defeating the Japanese and for being suspicious of the poor innocent little Commies during the ensuing "Cold War."
Ever since World War II the West (which defeated the Nazis) has borne the guilt of Hitler (mach shemo!). Instead of learning of the importance of defeating a deadly enemy we have instead spent all our time fretting over a "domestic Hitlerism" in the form of anti-Communism and "bigotry" against "the other." What must our sainted dead of that war think of us as they look down at us and see us celebrating our victory in World War II when the only "lesson" we have learned is that we are always wrong and "the other" is always right?
Gad. You'd think at least we'd have some moles buried deep within the enemy to get the job done without implicating us. We don't seem to intend to ever do anything but react, suffer, and remain true to the bizarre "lesson" we "learned" from the Second World War!!!
