To our brothers and sisters in the war on terror you can be sure the US will stand with you.
These are the sentiments I have already seen. Shortly after this attack in London my unit and a few others I have already been in contact with this morning have all felt the same way. After all, they have served side by side with some of England’s bravest. They are doing the most after the US in this effort to end the global actions of terrorists of all kinds.
No, this is no September 11th, and in the end it may not even be Al Quaeda or other Middle Eastern groups. It may be IRA or even the work of one nut with the proper skills. England is now on pins and needles and so is all of Europe.
My question is this...How long until the US is singled out for the blame for it all? Like what happened in Spain we will see this, it is just a matter of how long and how much.
God bless the families in England experiencing loss and horror at this time.
I'm calling Senator Kerry's office this morning singling him out as a cause for the terrorist actions. His appeasement kills again.
Ive already head a claim that Israel had prior knowledge of a coming attack. Israel denies it across the board.
DU is already blaming Bush...don't go over there it will just make you feel sick.

My wife and I discussed this topic this morning. I bet that by the end of the day some liberal is going to blame Bush and blame America in one or more of the strident left wing mags. My wife went a step further and said by the evening some MSM source on TV would say it was Bush's fault and/or blame it on America.
I don't think this is unappropriate at all. Its a side topic and it is important to know enemies within.

I believe that a little research will uncover that blame was apportioned to the U.S. in advance, in the "If anything bad happens to England from terrorists it will be because of British support for the unjust and illegal war against the Iraqi people." vein.

Have to make it known NOW that we understand how the media works, so that when it happens, we at least have some corroborating evidence that we saw it WAY BACK WHEN.

On the other hand, the fact that they are overloading us with this kind of behavior (the attacks) to the point that we aren't knocked off our feet and still have our mind in the game (both the media/propaganda war and the ground war) is a good thing.

How long? It is already happening. On a local talk show in Nashville a caller called in and hand wringlingly proclaimed that we just needed to find out why we made them angry and "understand them" better.

They also lack a sense of direction -- To them up is down, and, down is up.
It seems to have worked in Spain, tipping the election to an anti-U.S. candidate. The results are more mixed in Oz although recent reports indicate rising anti-U.S. feeling there. I believe Tony Blair and our other Brit friends know the score and will do their best to overcome the anti-U.S. propaganda.
But we all know that MOVE-ON, the MSM and other liberal (and mostly Soros-funded) anti-American outfits are working 24/7 to mold domestic and world opinion against this administration and its anti-terror efforts. I imagine it won't take more than a few days for the pundits to start spouting about how America brought these woes on our friends.
I was watching ABC News Thursday morning (7:00 a.m. EST), and it took Charlie Gibson and his guest about only four minutes to say that the terror happened to PUNISH Blair and England for going with the U.S. in Iraq!
It wasn't the IRA and from the moment I heard about it, I knew who it was. I also immediately started hearing it was Bush's fault because of Iraq. I wonder how it was Bush's fault when our country was hit on 911? We weren't at war with Iraq then. (don't confuse 'em with the facts!)
I visited several political web sites yesterday. Several posters on the democrat underground have blamed the attack on the USA and the Iraq war.
Not to be outdone the leader of the far right British National Party (or BNP) issued a release blaming the attacks on the USA , its allies and the Iraq war.
Amazing how the far left and far right are so far out there that they run right into each other at the far edges of utopia land.
