I never said any of those things, Do you write novels?

I was talking about being crowned President. Time will tell.

You're never going to convinice me that having more black fathers raise their kids is a bad thing, or that giving people in prison who want religious services of their choice more often is a bad thing. Sorry.

You are never going to convince me that slavery is a good thing,,,sorry.

Oh, so people are "crowned" president in the USA? Well, that is news to me. Should I stay home and not vote in the next presidential election -- since you are saying voters have no place in the election process? Time will tell if Gov Bush ever decides he WANTS to run, and if he does run, and if he wins, he will have EARNED that on his record as FL gov. For you to ignore his record makes it sound to me like you have a lot of fiction on your mind.

Who tried to convince you of that? Do you hear little voices?

Lots of things are good. Government control of them is almost always bad.

Hero worship is a bad thing. Particularly when the people aren't heros. In this case, he is wrong proposing governmental involvement in religious services.

We all seem to run to the government about something or other though. I'm glad that we don't contract out our military.

Killing people and blowing things up is best left to government in most cases.

Thanks for bumping this thread.

No problem. I am happy to point out dangerous policy when I see it. Others who are knee jerk supporters of anyone who isn't a Democrat should be shown that dangerous abuses come from both ends of the politcal spectrum.

I hear little voices all the time like "You want ice cream," or "That hamburger looks yummy." I think my stomach has become a ventriloquist. He's taking over the rest of me pretty fast.

I don't hear little voices, I just eat the stuff. I don't have a slow metabolism or a glandular problem. I'm not fat by accident. :^}

So, pointing out someone's actual record, and refuting your biased comments, is now "hero worship?" I see. Thanks for setting me on your narrow way of thinking. I really appreciate it. Next time I will totally toss out the facts, as you do.

BTW, although both of you seem to dislike the idea of this program, I will put the same question to you that I ask the political opposition to Gov Bush -- what is your BETTER solution to this problem of absentee fathers? Just ignore it and hope it goes away? Because I can tell you that doesn't work.
