Most pundits gave Prime Minister Tony Blair rave reviews yesterday after he assured a his stunned nation that al-Qaida's attack on London would not persuade him to abandon the war on terror.
But NBC's Katie Couric apparently wasn't impressed.
Covering the aftermath of the attacks live with NBC "Nightly News" anchorman Brian Williams, the "Today" show hostess observed: "He is quite a polarizing figure in Great Britain. I know his support of President Bush, his support of the Iraq war, has won him, actually, a lot of enemies."
Citing a recent poll that showed 68 percent of Brits opposed the Iraq war, Couric suggested that they might actually blame Blair for the attacks, wondering aloud, "Do you think this is going to create more antagonism toward the British prime minister?"
Fox News radio host Tony Snow, who aired the Couric clips on his Friday broadcast, sympathized with Williams, who had to sit by as his NBC colleague struck one negative note after another.
"If I'm Brian Williams, I'm hating life" during Couric's rant, said Snow.

I'm sure she's hoping, with fingers crossed and baited breath (but not prayers). Oh, what a good little gardener she is, planting the seeds of lies, deception and dissension. Hitler and other dictators could use/have used an 'aid' like her, a good little helper.

Who is Katie Couric?
Every 10 minutes on the show a banner would display that she is a Democratic hack.
All of the MSM outlets need to register as 527's. See BS, NBS, ABS, NPR-BS, MSNBS, CNN-BS, al-Jazeera-BS, etc.
The perky Katie has aligned herself with the hate-America-first, blame-America-first crowd. Is she getting her talking points from the DNC or al-Qaida? They seem to be the same.
Fox has been accused of being hard-right, but it is far more balanced than anything else you'll see on the boob-tube, yet they are criticized. Go figure.

It is Catie's producers that feed everything in from the A.N.S.W.E.R. supported shadow groups.

I noticed almost all of the people they interviewed on the news were muslim...Not any native brits on there only people with accents, man that made me mad.
Using that term in reference to Katie Couric is an insult to female canines!
She assumes the Brits will blame Blair because, if we experience another terrorist attack in the U.S., she believes we should blame Bush.
Katie, sing a few verses of "Give Peace a Chance" for the boys, will ya? (68% of Brits oppose the war,,,comming to Britan,, that's pretty high for them, ain't it?)

If we lose in Iraq, I will blame Katie. Along with Kennedy, Durbin, the news media, the Left, and any Democrat who ever runs in my area.

IF, as she suggests, Blair is polarizing...how in the hell did he make history (post-Iraq) by being the first Labour leader to win a general election in the UK.
I would suggest that Ms. Couric buff up her political science. Or, at least, read a UK paper, other than the Guardian, on occasion.
