THe Muslims don't take a liberal/conservative side in the greater schemes of international politicing. It's just icing on the cake for them. It alleviates the sorrow of the more conservatives killed and allows them to kill liberals in total unawares.

To them it is a matter of are you muslim or not. If not, prepare to die.

I've heard a perfect illustration put this way. If you were from another planet and had no prior knowledge of Earth and it's history and were dropped on Europe these days. Actually, I would agree completely with Piquaboy. For example, a scumbag that I love to use, Mohamud Atta, one of the 9/11 high jackers, was educated over seas in western colleges. He had all the opportunity to become something other than a mass murderer, but through islam, he followed the same path as his pedophile leader, the original mad- mohamud. Have you totally forgotten adolescence...? Children are being manipulated at an early age, this is nothing new under the sun. These recent examples are not the final proof of the incarnation of hell on earth.

It is the same old same old, it just happened in London, so now we are all outraged. Fools saw this coming years back; The "rational" people denied such until their boxcar blew to smithereens. Hope the suicide bomber craze that Arafat gave to the Palestinian youth does not catch on in the US.

There are battalions of preteens carrying Kalashnikovs all over Africa, and they have been exhibiting this exact phenoma for decades.

Demonetization of the enemy is fun, but ineffective.

Determination of the actual enemy, and removing his or her person from the fight while minimizing collateral damage is the war we are fighting. As far as providing some solace to the keyboard assassination crowd, I see no problem with termination of already radicalized and rabid youth; just be aware that it is others who will be required to satisfy the blood-lust.

It is easier to demand death to your enemy than to deal it out in person. These things leave marks and such actions most assuredly destroy the good soldier as well as the evil terrorist adolescent.

We could simply lay out a 55 megaton spread over London and be sure we got "them" all.

What I have noticed since the attacks in London is a call for a Pan Arab movement, linking all the various factions of Islamic unrest under one umbrella organization. It is a scarey thought, that would take the fight from scattered guerilla groups to a united front.

Self defense is not a "right" it is a moral imperative.

Tending towards reactionary pragmatism I have no problems with most of the views expressed here, I just have awareness of the dangers of over reaction to specific and limited incidents.

Mrs. Don-o, it really isn't. Islam doesn't figure significantly in the lives of British youth.

Islam is still a minority religion in the UK, however the Muslims try to spin it, and it is a completely alien culture to 96% of the population.

You're right that most Britsh people are athiest, but if they were to 'find God' they are much more likely to embrace Christianity.

You have a good point there, as a general matter. But it does figure significantly in the lives of British youth whose parents--- even if secular --- immigrated from historically Islamic countries; and it does figure amongst a particular subset of those white Anglo-Saxon British youth who want to rebel radically against their parents and their parents' values: just as youthful rebels in decades past embraced Marxism, Wicca, whatever.

When you can look around the world for the last twenty years and see the ever spreading death and destruction on every continent on the face of the planet including a lot of the islands by this death cult I don't see how you can use the term limited incidents.

The major obstacle to defeating this monster is the people and the leaders of the western world refuse to believe that we have been targeted for slavery and/or destruction by a ruthless, well focused, well organized, determined nation just as large in numbers as any single nation we faced in WW II or the Cold war.

This is not some little unhappy groups of protesters scattered around the globe.

They get their money, their goals, their warriors and their orders from the same place. Islam, Mohamed,and a group of middle east states.

We keep waiting for them to pop up around the Western world and when they do we go after these little individual groups instead of getting together and going into the middle east and cleaning out this whole nest of vipers at one time and place them under rigid control, re-educate the younger generation and bring these people into the 21st century.

If you destroy the nest then you can hunt down and eliminate those with no place to go home to.
