Oh I like that Woohoo!!
Mines in.
Thank you!

Yesterday, when this site was down, I realized just how important this site is to me. Been lurking here for years and this morning I registered and donated. This site is the best, and I don't want to be without it!
Welcome to FR!
My contribution is already in the mail!
Happy to participate, FR is my lifeline to the normal, being stuck out here in Boulder. YUK!
Thank you! Good to be here!
Welcome,
your self-discovery yesterday was felt by many of us. I thought I got suspended or something and it ruined my day.
Did you find the Yahoo Group, Free Republic 2? It's the place to find out what's happening. If FR goes down, Jim or John Robinson will post status there.
Didn't know about that. More info please, like a web address.
Much appreciated.
Bump the new one.
I was in a panic. I didn't know if it was my computer or my connection...heck, I did't know what to think. I looked at other conservative sites to see if they mentioned anything about FR being down, but found nothing. I thought I was never going to be able to get on this site again.......It was not a fun day!

Make sure you save it somewhere other than on your computer....I lost it when computer crashed so it wasn't there when I needed it yesterday.
I have suggested to Jim before that he take the site down to drive home the point for some who need it. He just laughed it off;
Of course there are some nutters who think that is what he did do. Whatever, I believe a light might have clicked on for some.
Thank you!
I just found out about that last nite when the site came back up. Somebody mentioned it in a post. I will check it in the future, if need be. Thanks!
Know how you feel....Immediately started looking at other news sources to see if there had been a major catastrophe: earthquake, hurricane, terrorist attack..... Why else would FR be down!
A-ha! The non-denial denial!
LOL
Many of us were wracking our brains trying to remember if we had posted something worhty of suspension or being banned. It truly made me heart-sick yesterday. The thought of not having this site chills me to the bone.
Jim Rob ought to know how much this site means to everyone. He has created a truly amazing place for us to revel. You are right don-o, it serves as a reminder of what we have and to mind our p's and q's.
To be honest, this is the only site I look to for news and info. I check out other conservative sites, but let's face it, they are nothing compared to FR. I quit watching Fox News on a regular basis, because.....well you know why. But I turned it on yesterday and somehow it has mysteriously turned into the Weather Channel. Go figure.

Score 1 for Ze Bull!

You are going to fit right in around here. Enjoy yourself.

Hey, don't forget to create your homepage so we can get to know you better.
Aside from your brilliant posts, of course. :)
That's a
"lotta bull" to share your seat with!
*L* .. he's one determined bull
You're right - a light clicked 'on' for me yesterday. I'm glad I had the Yahoo site bookmarked, but it is definitely not the same. I realized that I rely on this site a lot more than I thought - I donated this morning too.
Here's a thread for Francis Langford.
