Moderate, as most Muslims are. But in the West, moderate Muslim communities become the vessel which bring and harbor and camouflage the insane murder cultists.

We need a stable source of oil to replace Saudi oil when the House of Saud becomes the House of Sand. In stabilizing Iraq we rid the ME of a terrorist-associated dictatorial regime that had, at some point, WMDs; and we establish a base from which to operate in the ME, which we will need to do for the next several decades; at the same time that we ensure an oil supply. It wasn't done the way that I would have done it. But then I'm not a military strategist not a foreign relations expert. There has seldom been a time in history where just people have not had to sleep with the devil, as distasteful as it may be, in order to maintain their status quo. The key is that long term change must be the goal along keeping the devil in that most vulverable when he is comfortably snuggled up against you.
