At the end of WW2, the Russians largely handed the "denazification" program in Poland over to Jews.

There are a lot of issues to compare and contrast, as we were discussing here on a thread about the Egyptian chemist who may have masterminded the bombings. How to defend England? That's the real question here. If Brits believe they're being threatened by an ethnic group, shouldn't they be able to speak their minds?

I don't know the history of the "denazification" process in Poland at all. Can you provide references to support your view that the anti-Semitic Soviets of the 1940s and 1950s were willing to give bureaucratic law-enforcement authority to Jews in Poland? Remember, there were Soviet pogroms against Jews going on periodically in the Soviet union and the Bloc states.

I wouldn't compare the treatment of innocent Jews in the concentration camps to the way former Nazis were treated in any way, however. I see your point but they are two distinct problems. One is an issue of gross inhumanity; the other is a problem related to the execution of justice. How were the trials conducted, and how sure were the denazification authorities of their convictions? Were the punishments cruel and unusual, etc...

In any case, it would ultimately be the responsibility of the Soviet occupation as to how prisoners were convicted and handled in Poland.
