Yup. And I understand that a mental disorder is a very serious matter that can inflict hardship not only on the afflicted but also their loved ones. I admire the strength and courage of those who face it in their daily lives.
That doesn't stop me from injecting a little humor into my posts at their expense occasionally though. Perhaps that too is a mental disorder on my part.

Over the last 10 months my wife has undergone a serious stretch of drug induced bipolar symptoms (mania and suicidal depression) several cult exposure induced psychotic episodes and a hip replacement surgery. If we weren't allowed to laugh I'd be a basketcase by now.
(She's greatly improved and continues to get better everyday . Her thought process is much much clearer than it has been and when those odd thoughts pop up she now recognizes where they come from. Physically she's doing great but can't put weight on the broken hip yet for another three weeks. Dr. wants the prosthesis to be firmly welded into the bone before she puts too much stress on it.)
A good book to read re: Toxic psychirity.

We've found that psychiatry works almost exactly like non-surgical neurology. Throw drugs at the problem until one works.
LOL, I always have trouble spelling that word, and I spell it so bad that spell check can't check it....lol
