Yep. Their motto should be: Outrage...it's not just emotion, it's a lifestyle!

doncha think they'd just get tired?i mean, what a waste of energy and a life. you are so absolutely right. they just think of one reason or another to be angry and protest something.

they stand for nothing, just dissent. how pathetic.

You'd think. The saddest part is that it cheapens things that are truly outrageous and give us no cultural measuring stick for right and wrong.

Outrage should be reserved for men who murder entire families to steal their children, terrorists who blow up average citizens in the name of God, and diplomats at the UN who steal from the hungry to line their own pockets.

Talk about a group who doesn't understand that things aren't black and white. For all their talk of nuance, they have none. Outrageous or Perfect.

Yep, tired. It makes me tired to have to listen to it.

i probably part ways with you there. i think these people, the wacky left, completely understand the blacks, the whites, and the greys. i think they understand nuance.

so much so, that they are cunningly conniving that they can barter with our country's security for their own personal gain. they can barter with the safety of our troops, mitigating their treasons by claiming to "support the troops," perhaps even sporting a yellow car magnet next to their STOP BUSH NOW bumper stickers.

it's evil, what they are doing, and i think they know it but are willing to gamble to get out of the cold.

i did not ever think i would see a day such as this. my friends who are "anti-war' wax eloquent about the "poor kids" who are pawns in "bush's army," but they have no solutions...just "erase the hate" slogans, as if denying that there is such a thing as evil and pretending that some day we will all just "get along" will make the terrorists go away, or love us, or at least blow up only europe.

it's a bargain with the devil they have made. and they will pay for it, in ways we have not yet seen.

I don't think it's just about'' payback,'' cause Clinton was impeached. I believe even without Clinton ever being impeached they're hatred of Bush would still be absolutely out of control. These Rats are constantly looking for another'' Watergate,'' they figure hey, if we can't vote him out lets find something ,ANYTHING so the guy will be so embarrassed and or damaged he will simply have to resign. They're hatred knows no bounds. I really have never seen anything like it! But I keep thinking, do these dummies realize if Bush were ever to resign , that Cheney would take over and become president? Not Hillary or Lurch or even Howard Dean!

oh, bush is just a symbol of how much they hate US. (why do they hate conservatives? who cares. hatred needs neither explanation nor excuse.)

i am convinced no matter what republican had won, this situation would exist. they are simply opportunists, valuing a return to power more than national security or the lives of our soldiers.

your last point is amusing and so true. it exemplifies the problem...they just want the power back, however they can get it.

Actually, I totally agree with your point. My b/w comment related specifically to their rhetoric, not their behavior. I'm sorry I wasn't clearer on that point.

What are we supposed to do, just sit back and say nothing while they lie and lie and lie some more? If so, we may as well be back in the old days of the MSM monopoly.

Of course, you could always reply, "I didn't know you believed in the death penalty."

You could also say, "So terrorists should get access to our courts and our due process, but Rove shouldn't?

Today at work one of my coworkers who's a liberal RAT said Karl Rove should be taken out and shot for treason, He is endangering the lives of our soldiers.

If your liberal RAT friend wasn't so steeped in hatred for this administration he/she wouldn't be making such assinine statements in the first place. Most of my RAT liberal friends can't believe the Democrats are even foregoing this lamebrain effort. This whole thing is two years old and this is the best the Democrats can do to put a best face on Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame? Good Lord!

Your analogy is flawed. In the first place, the Democrats have to have evidence of a crime, there is none. No one said Rove isn't getting due process in the courts. I don't know where you got that.

The 'Rats are wasting their time and effort.

The Dems are scoring points with those who don't inquire deeply into the news. Notice the accusative allegations in the headlines and first paragraphs of news stories? They do have an effect on those who don't inquire farther.

However, and this "however" gets bigger every day, those who inquire into the news by jumping around to a few websites (like F.R.) soon realize that the MSM is in full scale, hyperbolic, neo-scandal mongering, character assassination mode.

They are trying to do another Abou-Graibe, but their duplicity shows more-and-more with each counterfeit scandal.

Annnnd, the big picture is that those who inquire more deeply into the news, are more likely to convince others of their research, and are more likely to vote!

.

Well, the moonbat leftist the poster in #22 was referring to (and the person to whom the statement I made would be directed) believes that Rove ought to be shot for treason, and Bill Press on Hannity and Colmnes last night said he ought to be locked up for treason, without mentioning anything about a trial. So I'd say there are a number of liberals who would, if given a chance, deprive Rove of any due process, while at the same time falling all over themselves to ensure that terrorists we capture on the battlefield had unlimited access to the finest lawyers and other resources our tax dollars could buy.

I happend to miss that particular H&C, but it doesn't surprise me that Bill Press thinks like he does.

I was doing a little research on the Chris LeHane connection to the scandal. I didn't find much more about LeHane except a couple of remarks about the fact that the Plame story was essentially dead until he came on the scene and started hyping the story to the media, telling them that he was sure that an independent council would eventually be appointed.

The independent council request was getting anywhere until the Justice Dept received a request from the CIA to do an investigation. Now this is interesting.

Who in the CIA might have wanted an investigation? The fact that it was the CIA, makes you wonder if someone was interested cleaning house within the CIA. Maybe this is a clue to why Judith Miller chose to go to jail rather reveal her source.
