Democrat partisanship disguised as moral outrage
Yes, I know, Democrat partisanship is redundant. Nonetheless, the Democrats are in high dungeon since investigators have released an email showing that Karl Rove possibly, might have, allegedly done something that, if the Democrats keep saying so, if they can stretch the law far enough, might, just might be a violation of the law. The rumor is that in 2003 Rove allegedly leaked the name of a CIA Operative to some reporters, thereby maybe putting said Operative, a warrior on the front lines of the War on Terror in danger. Consequently, Karl Rove must either resign, or the president must fire him. Of course, the email proves no such thing, but that is no impediment to the liberal Democrats who are out for blood.
"[T]he truth is Rove betrayed the identity of an undercover officer fighting on the front lines in the war on terror. These actions are particularly egregious in a time of war," said Howard Dean, DNC Chairman.

In order to have moral outrage, one must first have morals.
This point alone exposes the Dimocrat blather as simple partisanship.
How many Soldiers and operatives lives have been endangered by Ted Kennedy, Chuck Schumer, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chris Dodd, Dick Durbin, Barbara Boxer, John Kerry and the rest of the Dem party? How many of our enemies are emboldened by their Sedition? Let's count..........................
That was may thought too. I'm still laughing in derision at the thought that demoncRATS like Hitlery, Bubba, Reddy Teddy, Kleagle Byrd, etc. would be likened to anything moral even if it's outrage.
Just goes to show, this would have never happened if we'd have let the Democrats just do away with the CIA when they wanted to.
The gig is up, no one cares what the dems say anymore.
Rove is a hero for exposing the lies of a traitor. He should be given a medal.
I could not imagine Rove revealing illegal information in any way that could be attributed to him.
But he did.
But if the source of that information is a media reporter, then that can not in any way be a crime.
Novak at first said his source was a high level administration official, then backtracked... why?? What if Rove had simply told Novak.. "Time magazine has uncovered some interesting information about how Wilson got his job.. Why don't you go talk to the time magazine reporter.. If Time decides not to break the story ... perhaps you can."
If Rove then told the New York Times reporter what the Time Magazine reporter had told him.... with out telling the New York Times who his source was, The New York Times would be in the position of demanding a Special Prosecutor whose main task may be to prosecute people at Time Magazine.
The most important factor is the Special Prosecutor saying Rove is not a target. The only way that could be true is if Rove's source of the information was the media.. and not a goverment employee or document.
If it turns out the Time Magazine reporter was the source for Rove, and Novak, and Rove just passed on the story to the New York Times, the times may very will have been outsmarted. The Special Prosecutor in open court refered to the New York times reporter as a person guilty of criminal behavior and criminal acts.
When a special prosecuter says a person is guilty of criminal behavior and criminal acts the odds are very high that person is going to be indicted.
The truth is, that's a downright LIE. Democrats hope that if they repeat a lie often enough it will become truth. When the truth does come out, Where will the Democrats "outrage" be when it's one of their own?
You need to take a look at John Podhoretz' column of 7/12.
He lays out in detail the several previous occasions on which V. Plame was "outed."
You cannot be guilty of revealing the identity of a CIA employee whose identity is already common knowledge.
Lest we forget the Sandy Burgler affair, too. I don't recall a great hue and cry over destruction of information pertaining to 9/11.
Democratic howls of righteous indignation are laughable on there face.
Plame is a desk jockey.
