Heard these claims in an e-mail. Heard the answer from another e-mail... It really helps to know if the year, month or day comes first when you're looking at an expiration date with just numbers in it.
European employees thought some food was past the expiration because they use day-month-year vs our month-day-year. Not a big deal.

How many of us have an expired box of food in the cupboard?
This is how LIBERALS "care" about our troops.
It's just so much bs.

It cannot be any worse than the slop the military use to serve. We ate food in Korean war that was canned during WW2. The food service people ate well, stole food, served low grade meat that officers had been bribed to accept.
The grunt is always the bottom feeder.

LIBERALS can't surface from their "we have no agenda for a strong America" swamp. So they bury what the Bush Administation has accomplished with expired food and manufactured headlines.Bingo! That's it in a nutshell. The assinine "investigations" and dredged up "scandals" by these Democrats is not only shameful, but I would be embarrassed if I didn't find their lamebrain stupidity laughable.

You think that's bad?
We not uncommonly ate C-rations manufactured during or just after the Korean War during the early to mid- 70s... (and often glad to get them).
I'm actually pretty fussy about fresh foods being REALLY fresh, but canned food, or even dried food like rice, beans etc. --- a year or three out of date doesn't bother me at all... As long as the cans aren't swelled or leaking, most canned foods are safe many years past their "expiration date".

LMAO! And expired food that's canned and preserved harms the troops, how? You would think the Democrats had more serious questions to ask - like what do the troops need to win the GWOT.

Yeah, like they really care about the troops.
If a demonrat were prez, they wouldn't touch that issue with a ten-foot pole.

Yes, that, and they are adding vegetables to it as well.
That'll make the Dems happy. Now, gimme' some ketchup!
