Joseph Wilson Calls On Bush To Fire Rove

That's rich. Joe Wilson ought to be in jail. I realise there was a vast and concerted effort to defeat the President, but maybe I underestimated just how vast it was. It seems pretty clear that there were (are) folks in the CIA and at State, and who knows where else in the government, that would stop at nothing. Glad we beat them. We're going to have to do it again...and again.

HAHAHAHA! Great disguise...I would have never recognized you!

The President is speaking at the Black Expo in Indianapolis today (I live just south of Indy). The town is abuzz, and no one is quite sure yet what the speech will be about. The NAACP is meeting this week, too, but he declined the NAACP invitation. Ha!

I rarely see Matthew Cooper's name associated with Mandy Grunwald, his wife. This guy is married to a major Hillary Clinton staffer. Cooper was out to "get" Rove.

As well he should. Wouldn't it be great if the Pres made his SCOTUS nomination at the Black Expo. Justice Janice Rogers Brown, anyone?

I think that the better angle is that there's no apparent reason why Cooper and Miller would have to resist testimony if this is all there is. But it would appear from Rove's statements that the buzz about Valerie Plame originated from another journalist.

Or the other possibility is that Miller and or Cooper distorted what they were told.

I think you are right, but Cooper is in no way an "objective" journalist like the media is pretending.

In the original reports about this story, I do remember the claim that Rove said Plame was "fair game".

However, that means nothing, could have been Coopers or any other lamestream reporters own little special embellishment of the story.

I dont' know how Tony will verify if Rove actually said that or not. Personally, it sounds much more like lamestream injection.

Knowing the context is key as well. If Rove said something along those lines after Joe Wilson published his whine a thon in Vanity Fair, who could blame Karl?

There is NO WAY that Judith Miller would sit in jail to 'protect' Karl Rove.

The revelation of her 'source' has got to be so embarrassing and/or detrimental to a dem that she simply can't go that route.

By first demanding an independent prosecutor and now impeding his investigation, the role of the NEW YORK TIMES in this witch hunt needs to be investigated.

Victoria Toensing was on Fox and Friends this morning and she said US Air lost her bags. I feel for ya, sister. United Airlines lost my wedding dress and I never got it back. I complained so much that I'm probably on their do not fly list.

Y'all HAVE GOT to read this breif

All of the 36 news agencies in the brief were hell bent on saying NO CRIME was committed yet these same agencies are now trying to say Karl Rove committed a crime.

Yet the "crime" they're trying to pin on Rove is the exact same "crime" they tried to prove didn't happen, to a court.

Wait, let's think about something else. Isn't the NYT the former home of Jayson Blair? What if Judith Miller had no source?

Very interesting theory. Tony and others have said that it was widely known around Washington that Plame worked for the CIA and was Wilsons wife.

Lost your wedding dress! What a nightmare, was it before or after the ceremony? Reminds me about my friends sister who took her mom's wedding dress to have it tailored so she could wear it for the wedding. Got it back way later than promised, just before the wedding, tried it on only to discover the bodice had been reattached BACKWARDS.

They had to find another dress designer to try and make it wearable. Somehow they did, but what an 11th hour stresser.

That's exactly what I've been thinking. It is known also that she alerted a muslim front organization that they were about to be investigated .....their document shredding machines ran hot as a result of her premature 'query' about what they thought of that possibility..

The daughter is the one who stated that her mother never said she didn't "like" Hillary! Hah
