LONDON (AP) - Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, will get a coat of arms on Sunday to coincide with her 58th birthday.
The blue, red, gold and green crest features a boar taken from the crest of her father, Maj. Bruce Shand and a lion copied from her husband Prince Charles' arms, Charles' office said. Queen Elizabeth II took a "keen interest" in its creation, Clarence House added.
The duchess' coat of arms also has a crown - the Coronet of the Heir Apparent - copied from Charles' design. It was restricted to the heir's crest until King Charles II issued a warrant in 1661 so the heir's spouse could use the symbol too.
The duchess and Prince Charles were married in Windsor on April 9.
Prince William received his coat of arms, featuring a lion and unicorn, for his 18th birthday in 2000. Prince Harry helped design his own coat of arms for his 18th birthday in 2002, which includes an emblem from the crest of his mother, Princess Diana.
Please keep entries in the realms of viewable by most family members,, except Royalty. :)
"a horseface, errant, in a field of azure"
Why not? She earned it with Claptrap Charlie's able body assistance.

Well, a cuckoo could figure prominently, and also a set of horns...
It should certainly include a brown paper bag with two eye slits.
I think the motto should be: "I am Cornholio!"
"I am Cornholio!"
Nice mane, but we need to see the fetlocks before we award a ribbon.
She can borrow this one.
Oh, beg pardon.
This is the Dutchess of Cornhole.
Is that the he/she/it who is also known as "Miss Adventure"??
BTW, does that also mean that Camilla Homewrecker's title to be addresed as is Lady Cornwallis?
Technically she shares all HRH's titles. Ergo she is Baroness Renfrew,Countess of Chester & Carrick, and Duchess of Cornwall
My own personal arms are described heraldically thusly- "Grand Quarters 1st & 4th therein quarterly 1st & 4th: Sable,a fesse or between 6 mascles of the 2nd for Mitchell, 2nd and 3rd: argent, 2 flaunches sable, and in fesse 3 fleurs-de-lys counterchanged for Robbins; 2nd & 3rd Grand Quarters therein quarterly 1st and 4th: Or, on a chief azure 3 lions heads erased of the 2nd for Richardson, 2nd and 3rd: gules,on a bend argent, 3 trefoils vert for Harvey"
How do you get a coat of arms? Do you have to present any English or British ancestry to a coat of arms institution?
Why the long face?
Funny, she looked "mannish!"
