The Independent(U.K.) 5/4/99 Andrew Marshall "...In an admission that last year's missile attack on a factory in Sudan was a mistake, the US has cleared the man who owned the plant of any links to terrorism. The embarrassing reversal means that the US has virtually no evidence to support its claim that the missile attack was a strike against terrorism. Most of those who have investigated the case have concluded that the US acted on faulty intelligence and that key procedures were overriden by officials in the White House. The affair is already the subject of congressional inquiries and may result in the departure of some senior White House officials. America launched cruise missiles against targets in Afghanistan and Sudan in August last year after bomb attacks on its embassies in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam. It blamed the bombings on Osama bin Laden, the former Saudi who it accuses of backing many attacks on US targets. It said that the pharmaceutical plant in Khartoum was linked to Mr bin Laden and was used to produce chemical weapons. The US was forced to admit within hours that the plant was not a Sudanese government facility, but a private factory belonging to Salah Idris, a Saudi businessman. But it then said that Mr Idris was himself linked to terrorism and to Mr bin Laden. It froze all of his bank accounts, including money held at Bank of America in London. Yesterday, with no public announcement or fanfare, it unfroze the accounts, admitting that no evidence existed to accuse Mr Idris....."

UNICEF: Clinton's WMD Intelligence Killed more Than Bush's WMD
Intelligence

Democrat's lead by Clinton had only one approach to the Iraq problem,
and that was one of containment along with bombings (some small, some
BIG and some even MASSIVE.)

This approach lead to over 1.2 million senseless deaths that most
liberals enjoyed and supported because there was little resemblance to
the act of war as they picture war to be; no ground invasion involved
- as they put it. Why did the democrats support sanctions? Because
Saddam was evil and intelligence indicated Saddam was still a threat.
Scott Ritter found lots of WMD, even said in 1998 Saddam could be back
in business of producing WMD in 6 months.

So what changed between the Clinton administration and the Bush
administration? Not much. There was no longer any weapons inspections
since Ritter made the above comment and there was no active weapons
inspections when Bush came into office. Four year absence. All Bush had
to go on was what Clinton had to go on plus four unsupervised years
untill November 27, 2002, when inspectors returned.

While Saddam was what Hans Blix called cooperative on the 'process',
inspectors were still getting their chains pulled and jacked around as
they did in the 90's. Bush said enough is enough, I am going to find out
for myself what Saddam really has or doesn't have because it would be
too risky to leave the security of the US on the word of a pathological
liar known for revenge.

Clinton once said "And some day, some way, I guarantee you he'll
[Saddam] use the arsenal. . . . In the next century, the community of
nations may see more and more of the very kind of threat Iraq poses
now--a rogue state with weapons of mass destruction, ready to use them
or provide them to terrorists, drug traffickers, or organized criminals
who travel the world among us unnoticed."

Bush took action based on all the same indicators Clinton had, and had
the same fears found in his above prophecy. Clinton's policy left a far
greater death toll then any action to remove Saddam could ever produce.
To do nothing can be far more costly than action itself.

Death, Disease, and Malnutrition in Iraq --Each month 5,000 to 6,000
children died as a result of the sanctions. (WHO, 1998).
--In the heavily-populated southern and central parts of the country,
children under five died at more than twice the rate they were 10 years
ago. "If the substantial reduction in child mortality throughout Iraq
during the 1980s had continued through the 1990s, there would have been
half a million fewer deaths of children under five" from 1991 to 1998."
(UNICEF, 1999).

--Approximately 250 people die every day in Iraq due to the sanctions.
(UNICEF, 1998).

--Seven years after the imposition of the blockade on the people of
Iraq, more than 1.2 million people, including 750,000 children below the
age of five, have died because of the scarcity of food and medicine. 32
percent of children under age 5, some 960,000 children, are chronically
malnourished_a rise of 72 percent since 1991. 23% are underweight

- twice as high as the levels found in neighboring Jordan or Turkey.
(UNICEF, 1997) --More than 4,500 children under age 5 died every month
in Iraq. (UNICEF, 1996)

--There has been a resurgence of vaccine-preventable diseases, including
polio, diphtheria and measles. (UNICEF, 1993)

Bill Hoehn appears to be the creator or the bumper sticker slogan. He may also run a web site www.noonedied.com

"Usually cars, with this particular bumper stickers, also had Kerry-Edwards stickers. "

...and the lack of a "support our troops" ribbon or American flag.

Perhaps not (if you don't include the Serbs) but while Clinton was busy lying the terrorists were recruiting, training in Afghanistan, arranging financing, blowing up the Cole and the Embassies, you know, all those little things that led up to 9-11.

Or don't they count it when Americans die as a result of a CinC getting a BJ in the oval office instead of taking care of business.

Can we fit that on a bumber sticker?

When I am stuck in slow traffic and I try and peak around with my car to see what the heck is going on up front, almost without fail, the problem is caused by a clueless, scared, stupid person with a Kerry-Edwards bumper sticker. I'm not making this up. I may be exaggerating a little, but not much.

UPI 8/10/99 "...The Clinton administration warns Americans (Tuesday) that they should avoid travel in the tribal areas of northwest Pakistan along the frontier with Afghanistan, where indicted bomber Osama Bin Laden has found safe haven. The State Department says there is a "growing body of information" suggesting Bin Laden, who has been indicted for masterminding the bombing last year of American embassies in east Africa, is planning an attack against U.S. interests in the Northwest Frontier Provinces of Pakistan. .."

Why didn't Clinton just "go in and grab him"? LOL

I wonder what these mental giants would think of all these "liars"........

http://www.glennbeck.com/news/01302004.shtml

Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real..."
- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003 | Source

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force -- if necessary -- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002 | Source

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line."
- President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998 | Source

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
- President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998 | Source

"We must stop Saddam from ever again jeopardizing the stability and security of his neighbors with weapons of mass destruction."
- Madeline Albright, Feb 1, 1998 | Source

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."
- Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998 | Source

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
Letter to President Clinton.
- (D) Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, others, Oct. 9, 1998 | Source

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
- Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998 | Source

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies."
- Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999 | Source

"We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and th! e means of delivering them."
- Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI), Sept. 19, 2002 | Source

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."
- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002 | Source

"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power."
- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002 | Source

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
- Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002 | Source

"The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons..."
- Sen. Robert Byrd (D, WV), Oct. 3, 2002 | Source

"There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years ... We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction."
- Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D, WV), Oct 10, 2002 | Source

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002 | Source

Having problems downloading, so I'll just post the link. The article outlines the many Serbian civilians killed.

It mentions the bombing of a Serbian bridge, which I recall quite clearly. I remember back then, Clinton supporters shrugging off the killing of Serbs.

If that darned Algore hadn't invented the handy internet, we wouldn't have all of the resources available at our fingertips to disprove their lies. Thanks Al.

Nobody died when Clinton lied? I don't think so.

P.S. Remember Waco.

The only people who died when Bush 'lied' were scum sucking Islamofascist terrorists who weren't worth a bucket of lukewarm camel dung. IMHO. I say good riddance.

http://www.dso.com Sources 9/21/99 Dr Clifford Kiracofe "...The Clinton administration for months has refused to turn over to Congress foreign policy documents that implicate it in the Taliban reign of terror in Afghanistan, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA), told SOURCES. A number of members of the U.S. House of Representatives believe the Clinton Administration played a key role in creating the Taliban by giving a "green light" to Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States to organize, fund and direct the terrorist movement that has now taken control of Afghanistan, he said. "We have tried for a year and a half to obtain documents on our Afghan policy," Rohrabacher told SOURCES in an exclusive interview Friday. Rohrabacher says he has evidence the Clinton administration encouraged and approved the creation of the terrorist Taliban movement. Certain key officials in Middle Eastern countries have confirmed the administration's role in direct conversations with him. He also explained he has additional evidence from a number of confidential sources close to the matter. Meanwhile, Rohrabacher believes the State Department is stonewalling his requests for information on its policy toward the Taliban because administration officials fear the disclosure of facts to Congress would confirm a U.S. role in the operation involving the fundamentalist Islamic movement. Nonetheless, Rohrabacher, who is a member of the International Relations Committee, is pressing on with his requests for documentation of U.S. policy. "Our Chairman, Congressman Gilman, and others are supportive," he told SOURCES. The Taliban regime in Afghanistan is now an "epicenter" of international terrorism, Rohrabacher told SOURCES. A key aide in the Reagan White House and a journalist by profession, Rohrabacher said he saw Osama bin Laden's camp during a secret visit to Afghanistan in 1988. Rohrabacher has closely followed Afghan affairs for over a decade. Rohrabacher confirmed recent SOURCES reports regarding the formation of the Taliban by the Pakistani Interior Ministry and Inter-Services-Intelligence organization (ISI). Rohrabacher said there is no question Saudi Arabia and other Gulf States were brought in to finance the operation....."

Hmmm odd...
