Bill Clinton elected!

Who absolutely continued the destruction of our private property laws and the implementation of sustainable development, which was started by Bush Sr. when he signed the Rio Accord with the United Nations.

Tell me whats is the difference?

the "constitution party" should follow the lead of NRA and stay out of a city that is obviously anti constitution (second amendment)

We need another Reagan. Or another Revolution.

One of the two.

A vote for any other party is a vote for the democrats. Plain and simple.<<

If the USA is not going to be protected, if the Constitution is not going to be protected,..what do I care WHO is not protecting them?

When I voted for Bush, I did not realize that he would undermine USA Sovereignty with the "Union of the Americas, that he would offer more amnesty to illegals, that he will not appoint someone who will enforce Immigration Laws, that he would sign something like Campaign Finance that is obviously unconstitutional.

So, if Hillary (or another dem) gets in, I'm not going to sweat it out. She's a Socialists and it shows..But Bush is selling us out to Mexico.

There is no longer a difference, IMO, between the Anti-American Democrat Party and the Anti-American Republican Party. I have written my reps and told them the only way I'd ever vote for another repub, or give another dime to a repub, is if Dubya insures illegal immigration remains illegal, that illegals are found and deported, that there will be No Union of the Americas.

So, If Repubs want my vote..they need to Protect THESE SHORES and protect USA SOVEREINTY. Thats all.

That's not true. As an independent I take it race by race. I voted for Nader (write-in) as a protest vote against the Dem's for keeping him off the California ballot. If they race was close here, there's no way I would have done that. If a small party like the Constitution Party can shake things up in a few House races, they could really gain some bargaining power.

Look at what "John and Ken" did with "Political Human Sacrifice."

Or, if they really wanna make a statement, have all their members carry in accordance with the Constitution. Let Columbus try and pitch a fit over it.

And his "patriot" act has eroded the Bill of Rights faster, as well.

I keep hearing this but no one ever cites any evidence.

False - this makes the assumption that all potential votes "belong" to either the dnc or the gop.

Believe what you will, but this argument holds no water.

Another Reagan? I had a FReeper last week trying to convince me that Bush43 is far more conservative than Reagan, and the most conservative President in the last 100 years!

I think the interesting question is what would happen to the GOP if it became a conservative party. It looked for a while in 80 84 and 94 that it might....but subsequently it appears that Reagan and the C of Am was the high mark, not the beginning of a draft rightwards in this country.

In what I have observed, with the exception of 1964, when Republicans articulate a consistent conservative message, they do well. When they don't, they lose.

Now the contrary evidence is that the GOP won the White House in 88, 2000 and 2004 with a moderate, and then a moderately conservative candidate. 41 and 43 are obviously to the left of RR, and 43 is obviously to the right of 41. So on those elections, one could say that when the GOP is moderate it wins. The obvious counter to that is 76.

I don't know exactly how the politics will play out nationally. But I tend to favor the thesis that a true, conservative/populist/libertarian/Main Street/socially conservative campaign will always do pretty well, provided the man carrying the message can smile a bit and not always look like he's sucking on a lemon. That is REagan's legacy and it is powerful. We haven't seen anything like it since.

Therefore, though obviously the CP is irrelevant, since it gets fewer votes than a city council candidate in a big city, the fact remains that it has hashed out a truly conservative agenda...one which I think personally that the GOP should adopt as its own. We will lose the today show and a bunch of mods in so doing, but I still think we would win.

That's my $.02.

You can't handle the truth, can you?

Is President Bush & the GOP Elite serious about protecting our borders & stopping illegal immigration? JUST LIKE THE DIMS, of course not.

What about being serious about repealing Roe v. Wade, impeaching judges who legislate from the bench, respecting the 9th & 10th Amendments for once, limiting the powers of the federal government to its written, constitutional functions, returning our $ supply back to a sound footing (the gold standard, which the Constitution REQUIRES), eliminating foreign aid & the federal Welfare State (both of which are blatantly unconstitutional)....NOPE, of course not: JUST LIKE THE DIMS, they are in perfect agreement there too; & so many others it could take hours to list them all.

Bullshite. Neither of the Bush's are even a shadow of Reagan. Cutting taxes is just one of a long list of conservative traits. The increases in domestic spending alone disqualify our current President. Add in foreign aid, anti-Second Amendment stance being pushed by his new AG and the BATFE, failure to protect the border, ect....

The US is in deep doo-doo if we don't get a massive turn around and but quick.

well they certainly won't be holding it in Ohio Stadium....

From their website:

The Constitution Party is the only party which is completely pro-life, against special rights for homosexuals, pro-American sovereignty, anti-globalist, anti-free trade, anti-deindustrialization, anti-unchecked immigration, pro-gun, and against the constantly increasing expansion of unlawful police laws, in favor of a strong national defense and opposed to unconstitutional interventionism.

its like all the people voting for nader. they KNOW he won't win, but they also know that everytime they try, more people vote for him and if he hits that certain percentage rate, he gets his federal campaign funding. nader himself knows he'll never win, he just wants to get his party started so eventually they'll have a chance.

Truth? Back up and punt again. I'm no RINO fanboy. Nor am I big on the Constitution party.

I agree with a bunch of their Platform, right up until they start spouting about porn and "any Religion as long as it is Judeo-Christian".

Of the Third Parties, even the idiots in the LP are closer to my personal ideology.

I prefer the latter....the former won't happen 'cuz the current GOP Elite & the MSM (including FOX!) will refuse to let his or her name be told to the American public. Kinda like how certain folks were "erased" outta photos in the old Soviet Union, ya know?

I'd prefer that we could do it without taking to the streets.

Not that I'm holding my breath on that score.
