Women hurt by abortion speak out- Urge Bush to nominate justice willing to re-examine Roe

A group of women who testify they were hurt by abortion are calling on President Bush and the Senate to select a justice willing to look at facts and evidence unavailable at the time of the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision.

"There is not one aspect of my life that has not been affected by my abortion," said Dianne Donaudy, Georgia state leader for Operation Outcry. "We must have a nominee who believes in the rule of law."

Operation Outcry says it represents more than 1,000 women whose affidavits were filed with the U.S. Supreme Court in a case brought by the former "Jane Roe," Norma McCorvey, to overturn the landmark decision.

As WorldNetDaily reported, McCorvey began a quest in 2003 to reopen the case, based on changes in law and new scientific research that make the prior decision "no longer just."

McCorvey and Sandra Cano, the former "Doe" in the Doe v. Bolton case affirming legalized abortion, also testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

The two women claimed they were manipulated to achieve the political agenda of their attorneys and that their cases were based on fraud.

Cano told the Senate panel: "I am angry. I feel like my identity has been stolen and put on this case without my knowledge and against my wishes. How dare they use my name. One of the justices of the U.S. Supreme Court said during oral arguments, 'What does it matter if she is real or not.'

"Well I am real and it does matter," she continued. "I was in court under a false name and lies. … Doe v Bolton is based on a lie and deceit. It needs to be retried or overturned. … Abortion is wrong. I love children. I would never harm a child, yet because of this case I bear the guilt of over 46 million children being killed. The court is also guilty."

Operation Outcry points out that abortion is a key battleground for the president's nomination to fill the vacancy on the U.S. Supreme Court.

"We implore the president and the U.S. Senate to select a justice who will have the courage to revisit Roe v Wade and Doe v Bolton," the group said in a statement. "The court needs to hear of the devastation to women that that has been caused by their 1973 decision.

"It is time for America to know the truth about abortion and to hear from women who have reaped the consequences of killing their own children."

This justice will not rule on roe vs wade unless a case comes in front of the supreme court. DA. IT is settled law.

It is the congress that changes the law. Law is only made in the courts by activist judges and Mr. Roberts is not an activist.
