Can Islamic-fascist terrorism bring an end to American liberty? Can it conquer Christianity, the largest practiced religion in the world? And what of the other major religions of the world? The sane humanity breathing on this planet would respond, “No way!“ But then there are the radical Islamic morons who have a nihilistic ideology that supports their barbaric tactics of terrorism, and so they continue their idiotic Jihad. Apparently, the morons think they can dominate the world! And so the senseless killing continues.
While the sane humanity of the world respects freedom to worship without oppression and discrimination, factional followers of Islam just don’t seem to get it. Instead, they have adopted a religion of death and destruction to spread their philosophy of faith in their God. The Koran commands its followers to “fight and slay the Pagans wherever you find them.“ Loyal Jihadists have found such Pagans in New York, Madrid, and London.
But the insane murdering doesn’t stop with just Pagans and Infidels. On July 13, 2005, a radical Islamic moron killed himself and took with him 24 Iraqi children. To thwart the adoption of liberty in Iraq the Islamic terrorists are willing to murder innocent Muslim children who just happen to believe in Islam. Suicide is not an acceptable wont of the Islam faith. But dying in battle is revered and glorified by radical Islamic morons.
How do you fight such absurdity and vileness? While they cannot defeat our military with our arsenal of smart bombs, we remain stymied by their seemingly never-ending arsenal of volunteers who believe in martyrdom. What’s more effective in this religious war we are fighting, smart bombs or dumb bombers?
Ridding the planet Earth of every breathing radical Islamic moron may be desirable, but not likely doable, despite our vast superior military advantage. Ostensibly, this struggle has all the marks of a religious war, a war that can only be won when one ideology prevails over another. Interestingly, nobody refers to it as a religious war. Yet, if the morons within the Muslim religion would just agree to accept the dogma of other major religions of the world; that is, to be tolerant of other peoples‘ religious beliefs…what a wonderful world it would be! Clearly, that is not what Muslims are willing to do.
Somehow, moderate Muslims need to convince their moronic radical brethren that the planet Earth is large enough to accommodate more than one major religion. One must remember that the old testament of the Bible advocated “Life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.“ This passage was contradicted in the new testament with “Turn the other cheek.“ The point is, there is room for tolerance in every religion.
Isn’t it obvious that the war on terror needs to be declared by the Muslim moderates? Talk about a silent majority! The moderate clerics need step up and make the same edict stated by President Bush after 9/11/2001. During a news conference just two months after 9/11, President Bush called upon coalition partners to back up their support with action. He said, “You are either with us or against us….there is no room for neutrality.” Moderate Muslim clerics need to essentially say the same thing to their radical brethren. Otherwise, the global war against terrorism will likely go on for a long, long time.
Muslims worldwide are relatively safe as long as war on terror remains a military war. But, if the Sleeping Giant is hit again as severely or even more so than 9/11, the war may just escalate into a religious war. The moderate Muslims will then wish they had put forth the effort within their own religion to dissuade radical behavior, for they shall not relish the battle cry, “Onward Christian Soldiers.”

2) Like many Christians, especially in this country, of those who DO know what's in the holy books, many Muslims simply ignore it because they don't agree with it. Do you know any Catholics who practice birth control? Same issue. Millions of Muslims rightly or wrongly (from the point of view of their religion) simply reject that "jihad" requires any kind of killing or war. And they are serious. I work with some of these people. Realize, I work with Catholic priests who think homosexuality is ok, too.
3) Islam is NOT, I repeat, NOT monolithic. No one cleric "interprets" the Koran for Muslims in a way the Pope supposedly interprets the Bible for Catholics. Sunnis have a system of ulamas that jointly arrive at conclusions about what some things mean, but even they are not followed universally; but Shiites are 100% "congregationalist" in that each mosque determines for itself what the Koran "means" to them. So it is 180 degrees opposite Shinto in WW II, where getting the Emperor to surrender ensured that all Japanese would lay down their arms. No cleric could demand that all Muslims "fight the west," or, on the other hand, "lay down their arms." That's why clerics like Ayatollah Sistani and al-Sadr seem to have so little real power.
So it's not a bunch of verbal "engineering" as you say. It's a very complex religion that many here on FR want to see in a simplistic light.

They exist by the millions. Thousands of them are risking their lives daily with us in Iraq and Afghanistan. It's a disservice to their heroism to pretend they don't exist.
Let's try this again: There is no "one" interpretation of Islam any more than there is one interpretation of Christianity (see: denominations). And it's just moronic to think that all those Iraqis and Afghans fighting with us are Quakers or Mennonites. They're MUSLIMS, for cryin' out loud. And they are CLEARLY rejecting jihad and fighting with us.

We ought to tell the Saudis that we have one MRVed nuclear missile ready that will take out Mecca and Medina and everything else along that portion of the Saudi coast if there are any further attacks against the United States by the sheetheads members of the Saudi royal family support financially ... and by along the coast we mean anywhere along the coast as far inland as Riyadh from any Saudi coast.

Excuse me. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Have you read the Koran? Have you read the Hadith? I have spent the last three years and over a thousand hours studying Islam. What authority or credentials do you have to lecture me?
If you had bothered to do a little homework instead of jabbering from your feelings (like most libs do by the way) then you would know that it makes no difference who interprets what as what in the Koran. It would also be clear where the terrorist get their inspiration from. It would be clear as well that Mo Ham Head himself ordained Jihad as MANDATORY if you are to be a "good" Muslim.
I've already noted that the peaceful Muslims are the ones that don't know there own religion and don't practice it. This is a fact. I've also already made it clear that while it is certain that all Muslims are not terrorist, it IS certain that nearly all terrorist are muslim and that there is a very good reason for that.
I suggest that you learn about Islam first before defending it. Why don't you visit this site, www.faithfreedom.org and read the information, join the blog and talk to ex-Muslims from places like Iran, Pakistan, Egypt, etc. I also suggest reading the Koran and some of the more reputable Hadith and learn about Mohammed. Then come back to me and explain to me who is stupid.

But I submit to you that, like many Christians, MANY sects would completely disagree and say they DO "know there [sic] own religion" and that it does not say what you {i.e., "mo-ha-med"] says it does, just like Quakers disagree that the Bible sanctions "just war," and just as the Unitarians say the Bible doesn't mention the trinity.

I would like to get this overwith......even if it takes one or more massive, devastating hits........just as Harry S. Truman ended the War in the Pacific in that manner. I'm not in favor of sitting around nervously watching people's bags being inspected in the nation's subway systems, waiting and hoping that we're "right 100% of the time" ...
That's like slowly bleeding to death. Better to conduct a thumping victorious "shock and awe" and put these people out of business. It has been said many times, that the only thing Muslims understand and respect is raw, brute force. So let's do it.
