But the AGEIS Radar system has been in use since the Early 1980's on the Ticonderoga Class Cruisers of the US Navy. Later in 1992 the Arleigh Burke Class missle destroyers came on-line.. before Clinton got into office by the way..

So I am not so sure that He had anything to do with the SPY-1 Radar Array that is the heart of the system.

But like you all have been pointing out.. he did make it easier to have the Chinese gain our technology during his administration.. so I would imagine that anything is possible.

True the Arleigh Burk Class missile destroyers where built in the early 90’s but the Luyang II 171 Haikou where built around 2000 or 2001.

I must be missing your point? What does the US class missile destroyer being built in the 90’s have to do with the China taking the plans for the phased array antennas?

My point is that the article mentioned that the Chinese were believed to be able to get the AGEIS type system from a sub-contractor on the AGEIS system here in the US.

It is NOT a moot point. It is critical that we find out exactly how they got it and stop it from happening again. We must punish any and all criminal activity that took place. It is being ignored because our ex president was directly involved.
