Our church is very proud and thankful to be in America. However, we believe that it is heresy to display the government's flag on the pulpit or anywhere in the church. It shows that God's church is not limited to any nation.
I have the utmost respect for our flag and would beat down anyone I caught burning it or disrespecting it in any way. But the church remains separate from the state.
This columnist calls Free Republic the "home of hate-emails..."
He owes FR an apology at least.
Or perhaps it would be better to name him, and his fishwrap paper, as defendants in a libel/slander suit?
I hate it when they do that. LOL
