Very few people got your post.

But from my tagline, you can see I did.

"Hmmm...analogy, you say? I don't know what that means, so surely, this is meant to be a literal post stating outright that Hitler was God. And we all know that Hitler was evil! Satan, even! You are a bad person for posting this!"

/channeling stupid drones who have responded similarly, not understanding this is a slam on Gitmo-coddling of terrorists

GITMO?

I don't understand the comparison. During WWII we provided for the religious worship of the prisoners. We're doing the same thing in GITMO.

But Naziism is a Ideology Of Peace! Hitler (Peace And Blessings of Allah Be Unto Him) was only was defending his ideology. Clearly he had the requirement to protect His People from the Persecuting Jooows!

We should try to understand Naziism. There are many Peaceful Nazis here today. Naziis eveywhere have silently condemned the occassional harrasment of Jews. But the peace-loving Nazis have been painted with a broad brush from their boisterous bretheren. But now, they are just too afraid to reveal themselves, due to persecution.

NAIR (Nazi Abuse Inhibition Reform) will be filing charges very soon!!

</sad I have to post a Sarcasm tag;>

If it was a religion with 1.2 billion adherents who are the predominant sect in countries that we're trying to hold the lid on, then I'd treat Mein Kampf like it was a box of magically delicious chocolates while they were around.

Nice try, but the resemblance of Helen to Bridget is to close. Hitler was more like the devil.

A "moderate" Muslim spokesman on Hugh Hewitt today sounded very reasonable and peaceful until the issue of Israel's right to exist came up...

I've traveled over most of this earth. You MUST learn to respect EVERYONES religious beliefs, regardless of your own. A little respect goes along way.

Try giving a Muslim a copy of the Holy Bible, or ask him to come to Church with YOU. Do you believe that a Muslim American would lay down his life so that a Christian would be able to practice his religion?

Watch his face and his reactions.

I Have NOTHING against Islam, or the People who practice the religion. The point is the two religions will tolerate each other to a point and that point is where the Muslims become dominate. Then they will impose their will, their religion and their LAWS! It's a MUST for their religion.

I too heard the moderate Muslim on Hewitt, and found myself yelling at the radio.

Somewhere between Hugh and Tancredo is an answer to all this.

On the one hand I don't trust Muslims, or rather I don't give them the benefit of trust. On the other, I think surely they don't want to all become mushroom cloud.

Hugh's demonstrated past wisdom, but this time I am not so aligned with his passive views.

"I am sorry that most of the responders completely missed the point."

It might be that the point fell way short.

Yep, I've seen it. Falls way short to me.

The fact is, during WWII we provided for the religious practice of our prisoners, not the political. In GITMO we're providing for the religious practice of our prisoners, not the political.
