What the heck was Hipple doing there anyway...and why didn't he show that kind of guts when we was playing in Detroit...if I recall he was always getting sacked himself!!
Go Lions!!

heh...
don't worry if Joey fails. You guys will get Garcia the Metrosexual as your QB. That IS a good thing.
If Garcia gets the reins early enough with all those weapons, you may keep Green Bay out of the playoffs....
Detroit could go 10-6 this year if they let Garcia be the opening day QB. It didnt work in Cleveland for him because Butch Davis is a horrible coach and that was a horrible Team.

He got a broken foot, bit by a dog and made to look like a punk in front of the whole country. :D

I kind of like Garcia, he helped me win my fantasy league a few years back. I think he might be over the hill now.

Michael G. Walsh, a Muskegon attorney representing Davies, said Tuesday his client was tackled to the ground in an unprovoked attack and suffered a broken foot while trying to defend himself. Playing the victim card.

I'm actually pretty high on drafted UConn QB Dan Orlovsky. He has skills and may surprise some folks. If the Lions sign Ty Law, they will be contenders, IMHO.

Excuse me, but keeping in line with the new guidelines concerning the defunct (War on Terrorism) terminology, I think we should refer to this incident as...

They should book his attorney too
for felonious assault on the truth ...

Beaten up by a quarterback........
That gets a lot of laughs from a ex-safety and former d-back coach. :)
To: kyperman
nah the guy didn't play half of the year last year. Sure he was injured, but he doesn't have the normal wear and tear on him that a normal 34 yr old QB would have....

yeah...
Orlovsky is at least a year away. He only played one year in the Big East and it was an extremely watered down Big East at that. He has the tools but he needs some time.
Garcia isn't your future, but he could be a decent present.

Ty Law - what an ass. Less than a year ago he could have had a four year contract for 24 mil or so to finish his career with the Pats. He called it an insult.
Now he's going to end up with a one year deal for close to or at the veteran minimum. I can't believe nobody has picked him up yet. He'll have something to offer.
