That voice -- even when she's trying to be pleasant, she sounds like a scolding, ranting fishwife, somewhere between The Church Lady and Dykes on Bikes. She just comes across as just so cold and vicious that she could never win anywhere near enough of the swing vote. People are just not going to warm up to that (expletive deleted).
Without a major personality transplant, any semi-handsome and affable Democrat will blow her away in the primaries.
Let's see. Kerry, Gore, Dukakis, Mondale. . .You really think looks and personality have an impact on 'Rat politics?
Kerry and Gore were reasonably nice-looking, though Gore's Forrest Gump/Rain Man/Herman Munster personality more than made up for that aspect of him. Kerry has a beak, but was probably the best looking of the bunch.
Mondale was average.
Dukakis did kind of look like he should be yelling "De plane! De plane!"
