Thanks for the ping. This article is a plea for money. And even if they got more money, they couldn't predict an eruption or a tsunami with accuracy. Better to spend the money on improving the real-time tsunami warning network.

I have a question. Where were all the tsunamis from the hydrogen bomb testing in the Pacific back in the late 40's and '50's? Don't seem to be much mention of such an occurrence.
