DEM RIPS HILLARY FOR 'POLL' FAULT ("insulting" survey to Dims to drum up cash faulted)

HILLARY CLINTON "Insulting" mailer.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has mailed an "insulting" survey to Democrats to drum up cash for her re-election campaign next year — asking leading questions that attack President Bush and the GOP.

One Brooklyn Democrat who received the slick mailing accused Clinton of stooping to what he called the gutter politics practiced by Bush adviser Karl Rove.

"Part of my job is to be a good listener," Clinton says in a "Dear Friend" letter to targeted Democrats.

"My determination to move forward on the issues we care about is reinforced by the Republican pursuit of flawed and failing policies and by my deep concern over the effect the extreme Bush agenda is having on America."

But the questions are aimed at drumming up anti-GOP feeling, rather than "listening" to and getting honest answers on issues, charged author Adam Fawer, who read the mailing last week.

One question reads: "How concerned are you that President Bush is not doing enough to get Americans back to work, create more jobs and getting the economy moving again?"

Respondents are asked to check a box to answer either "very" or "somewhat concerned" or "unconcerned."

She then asks for contributions starting at $25 to more than $100.

Fawer, a former market researcher, slammed the questions as "over the top and insulting."

"Hillary claimed she wanted to know what our views are, but the questions are so leading that it was obvious to me the poll is designed to try to get me to think in a certain way," Fawer said.

Clinton campaign spokesman Howard Wolfson said: ......"One person not liking a 6-month-old mailer doesn't sound like much of a story here."

I got two of these kind of mailers the same day, one from the Democrats, one from the Republicans. Imagine my surprise to be greeted as "fellow Democrat". They both ask a lot of loaded questions and then have a follow on, "Help us fight dem low down good-fer-nuttin' [other party]s by sending a check to ..."

I'll send the Republicans a check on "The Day" that Ann Coulter is made Chief Justice of the United States. I'll send the Democrats a check the day the Barnstable County Democratic Committee calls for the public hanging of people who leave young women to drown.

Has the b*tch seen the economic figures lately? - We have.

If Karl Rove practices gutter politics, I wonder what his opinion of James Carville is.

Anyone connected even remotely to the Clintons political ambitions is to be considered a guttersnipe of the lowest order---they are so low when they step out, these people have to step up about six feet.

I've come to believe that it's the Kool Aid syndrome.

If our policies are working, why, just keep saying that they are aren't, and enough people will drink it to make a difference.

Utter doublespeak. - and I despise them for it.

In the ham-fisted, unsophisticated Hillary!, the Donk party has finally met it's perfect match.

They just better not be counting on the rest of the country sharing their infatuation...

NO STORY!

Her lust for money is widely-known. But raising money by using the old 'Hate-Bush' method shows a lack of creativity.

Politically, she can't hold a candle to Rapist42... and this will become more & more evident as she girds for 2006... and 2008.

well, interesting. I'm subletting and one of those "2005 Critical National Issues Surveys" from Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is sitting in the renter's in-basket right now. It made me very curious what sort mind control she was up to.

now i know and it's to know that the Post is On_The_Job.

Hillie's gonna implode. There ain't a handler on this planet who can make a silk purse out of that sow's ear. A national campaign will be her undoing.

There's nothing new under the sun, especially for the left. A good example is the campaign to destroy the reputation of Clarence Thomas. The whole playbook was stolen. Not only are they devious, they're handicapped.

Ya know, I have to say I despised Bill Clinton, but at least he or somebody around him was creative, intuitive about ideas. These lefty dems today are a bunch of no talented, lying deceitful, bitter, hatefilled, spiteful, ingrates that have no clue or new ideas. It's been completely amazing to watch the extreme left losers take over this bunch of dem sympathisers.

They just can not grasp the fact people really don't buy into their B.S. anymore.
