Mary Matalin is a saint, I would smother him with a pillow, if it were me! Oh dear, another thing to confess this Saturday.

The Iowa State Fair is the greatest! I try to go for one entire day and then one evening. The food is awesome and the people watching compares to nothing. Be prepared to see all the '08 presidential contenders on the evening shows next to a 4-H kid and their ribbon-winning animal with a hay bale in the background--it is a tradition.

Some people can have disagreements and not take them personally.
That's valuable trait.
It's hard to imagine today because we hear a lot of liberals in the MSM engage in irrational yelling and bad behavior. It wasn't always that way and there are still liberals who are polite, pleasant and good company.
Maybe it's partly because they believe that they "accomplished" changes by shouting down the opposition.
Maybe another part is as David Brooks had suggested, that Roe v. Wade eliminated the need for debate on the Left.

David Brooks had suggested, that Roe v. Wade eliminated the need for debate on the LeftI wasn't aware of that comment by Brooks, it's a profound point and would explain a lot!

Our relatives told us that it is the biggest State Fair in the US, is that true?
To: Fudd Fan
It was in an Op Ed in the newspaper that must not be named several months ago.
