Thank you for that information.
I was incorrect in my Bay Village knowledge.
Can you check Strongsville or Middleburgh Heights?
There was a suburb that was supposedly 100% turnout that went for Bush, and IIRC, it was a place Bush visited that had well over 10,000 supporters.
Kucinich's district was not tallied online until well after midnight - the only district in Cuyahoga County that was withheld for whatever reason. I have my suspicions, as Kooch was within the margin of error to lose.
In 2004, Strongsville voted for Bush, who got 56.07% to Kerry's 43.56%, with a turnout of 22,214 voters. In 2000, there were 32,859 registered voters in the city, so the turnout doesn't raise any eyebrows.
In 2004, Middleburgh Heights voted for Kerry, who got 52.29% to Bush's 47.28%, with a turnout of 7,686 voters. In 2000, there were 11,981 registered voters in the city, so that isn't too suspicious either.
People sometimes play games with registered-voter totals to try to claim that there was heavy illegal turnout, but I haven't seen any official record of Ohio registered voters for 2004, so this could well be an urban legend.
Oh how many after school beatings he must have suffered with that name. Each one deserved.
His campaign manager is Charlie Balch. Do what you will with that information. ;-)
Did you check out the candidate's website? The webmaster needs to edit better! "A mayor who is consicious spending." Umm, what does that mean exactly??
