I used FR search on "Google" and came up empty. Maybe I should have googled it.
My publisher, without approval from me, is allowing Goggle Print to show pages of my book to the public after placing a term or phrase into their search box. In some instances, I'm able to read every other page of a 302 page book. It's a reference book with information that is not available to the general public.
I've contacted my agent and have demanded that the search option be immediately pulled from Google Print but the publisher is not returning calls or e-mails.
Do I have a legal recourse here that I can pursue? The copyright is under my name.
After all, why buy a book when you can Google it?

If you own the copyright, you should be able to stop this. (Then I suggest you find another publisher.)
Consult a lawyer.
My thought is, what sort of rights are/have been extended to the publisher? I assume you have a contract?
